House, 3 Bedrooms + Office, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

Located in the heart of the bluegrass, this beautifully renovated house is perfect for all visitors to the area. This house and barn containing 9 stalls and a tack room provide the perfect getaway to the bluegrass region. Minutes away are Fasig-tipton, the Ky Horse Center, Keeneland, and the Kentucky Horse Park, home of the 2010 World Equestrian Games and Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event. Property is easily accessible from I-75 and I-64.

This property is PET and KID friendly.

Upon entering the front door of the residence you will be welcomed into the warmly decorated family room with ample seating and entertainment center. The den offers a separate quiet space off the family room that contains two convertible chairs that will comfortably sleep 2 guests. The dining room is bright, airy and allows plenty of room for all guests to come together for meals. The completely renovated and fully stocked kitchen has been furnished with new appliances and will be just the place to enjoy your mornings at the bistro table before beginning your day. There is also a mud room with washer and dryer that has its own separate entrance for those muddy guests. There is a full bath located on the main floor.

The second floor contains three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms each feature a queen bed and the third bedroom has two long twin beds. There is a full bath in the hallway.

Great place to stay!

This house was a last minute find, and SO glad we found it!!! You could not ask for more in a vacation home. We came into Lexington for Bluegrass weekend at Keeneland. The location of this house is approx. 5 mins. from Keeneland, no problem getting on freeway/stores/rests. etc... and the Kentucky Horse Park is just up the road. The owner is super friendly, he has an equine hospital behind the house and was nice enough to let my father in to see the prep for surg. to a young colt bought in. This is a very relaxing house, it feels like home. It has been re-done, all three bedrooms allowed privacy, had comfortable beds and big closets. The kitchen allowed for ease in cooking meals, and the huge dining table ensured we had great family meals, just like Sunday dinner used to be for familes. WE WILL BE BACK!!! I recommend this property to anyone visiting the Lexington area, it is a super home base for any activity, and if you are in town for the races at Keeneland, this is the spot for you!

Wonderful Stay!

Excellent home and lovely property. Very clean and spacious. Linens and paper products were provided, although there was no toilet paper, not a big deal but just glad there were no emergencies upon arrival :). Owners were super nice and very accommodating. The only negative and I only mention it so there are no surprises for future guests is that the house is located on a very busy road and there is traffic noise and some train noise. We live in the midst of 25 acres and are not used to sleeping with "city noises", but we were not bothered by it at all. Maybe we were just worn out!! Overall, this is an excellent home and location. MUCH better than a hotel any day! We will return.

My four trainers, myself and one of the trainers wives all stayed at this fabulous house just 2 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park during our National competition. We arrived on Oct 1st with 7 horses and loved the wonderful barn/pastures and set up for the horses. We were so comfortable in the house with plenty of beds for everyone having the convenience of cooking, laundry and coming and going as we needed with it being MINUTES from the Horse Park. The owners and staff were all VERY accomodating and we enjoyed the tour of their fabulous Equestrian Surgical Center right behind the house. We only had 2 small issues...tub slow in draining and they sent plumber out immediately to take care of that. Other issue was we were unable to get wireless connection and even after email and phone contact never could get it to work. But we loved the stay SO MUCH we have already put in our request for next years show! I would recommend anyone who wants a great place while showing at the Kentucky Horse Park to consider staying at this wonderful house! (As long as it's not during the same 2 weeks we want it! haha)

Perfect for bourbon country and Keeneland!

Nicely decorated, clean, spacious and great for groups - with all the amenities you need for a fun weekend getaway to bourbon country in Kentucky. The owner is helpful and responsive. Keeneland or downtown Lexington are only 10-15 minutes away. We had a great time and I'd definitely consider renting there on future Kentucky visits.

Fall Break

This was a short trip to Lexington to attend Keeneland and a UK Football Game. We met friends from London, Kentucky. The space was perfect for our group. The description and photo's accurately reflect the rental. Because of the weather we weren't able to go to Keeneland so we came back to watch a movie. We were unable to find a DVD player so we found it necessary to purchase one. It was nice that papertowels, soap, and dishwashing liquid were provided so we didn't have to go out and purchase much for our short stay.
