Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 7-8)

Walk right out the door to world-class hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park! At the foot of trailheads to Longs Peak and Mount Meeker, as well as all of Wild Basin. Hikes range from easy, level trails with picnics along the St. Vrain river, to difficult hikes up 14000 ft peaks and world-class multi-pitch rock climbs.

Outstanding mountain biking available. Fish in St. Vrain river, or one of a dozen post-card beautiful alpine lakes. Then enjoy a country breakfast in Allenspark (~2 min South on Hwy 7) or a gourmet dinner in Allenspark or Estes Park. This place is one of a kind! Horseback riding and fishing guides are available just around the corner.

Cabin is cozy and comfortable, with all of the amenities of home. Comfortably accommodates a family of 2 to 8. Large yard provides quiet solitude. St Vrain river can be heard at night.

Wild animals (Elk, deer, raccoons, squirrel, and bear) sometimes roam through the neighborhood.

Absolutely gorgeous setting in all seasons.

Convenient access ~45 minutes from Boulder, Co, on state highways, or about 90 minutes from DIA.

Why The Owner chose Allenspark

We absolutely loved this area the moment we saw it! It is 50 minutes from our home in Louisville so just far enough that we are able to truly get away - yet not so far that we aren't able to enjoy it.

What makes this cabin unique

Very quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the access to hiking is superb.

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable mountain home. It is very clean and spacious and is nicely decorated. It is very quiet. The beds are very comfortable. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen - we have stayed other places that were bare and without even dish soap, so we even brought our own salt & pepper & coffee filters - but you will find that the kitchen has everything you need. We appreciated that their was reading material available as well. The best part of this cabin is the awesome location close to Boulder and at the Wild Basin entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park . You can walk right down into Rocky Mountain National Park from the cabin.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
