This 3 bedroom, 2 bath ocean front cottage is located at the South end of Spruce Point. Beyond it's lawn and it's old stone sea wall with 70 ft. pier, the cottge affords due South exposure with views of the open ocean and Islands. Built of native cedar and pine, including all pine interior, custom vaulted ceilings, fieldstone fireplace, open granite kitchen, dining and living room to the raised waterfront deck.

With interior views of crashing waves, one may get the sense of being on a large yacht. Tucked under spruce trees with lobster boats working and the distant sound of an occasional fog horn, one feels the charm of this Down Maine cottage. This cottage is all the above and more.

Harbor also has a YMCA, public 18-hole golf course, famous Botanical Gardens. churches, working lobstermen and fishing, Hodgdon Yachts boat building facilities and Samples Shipyard restores old schooners, such as 'the Bounty' lost during 'Sandy', lighthouse and Island tours (Burnt Island Light and Damiscove Isand Preserve) original manual and operational swing bridges, sea aquarium and Coast Guard Station, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Within 45 min. to Freeport Outlets and LLBean, 3 hours to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. 1 hour to Camden and Rockland ME for additionl activities.

The living room has a leather sectional in front of the field stone fireplace.

Notes: Our guests may use all the facilities at the Spruce Point Inn: 2 swimming pools, 3 hot tubs, spa (extra cost), fitness center, clay tennis courts, children's center for day or evening with activities (extra cost), kayaks, bikes, restaurant and tavern with entertainment. Need to book the spa and children's center with the Spruce Point Inn and the tennis courts are free but with scheduled court time. Can also book housekeeping and cleaning ahead of time. There are towels at both swimming pools/hot tubs. Please do not bring towels back to the cottage. No smoking allowed; nor pets (unless pre-approved). We are adjacent to the Inn on the waterfront, but private.
