Your interest in Idelwild View at Trailhead Lodges is much appreciated. Please email your inquiry or questions via VRBO and I will respond immediately.

We offer discount lift tickets, discount equipment rental and resort locker with rentals.

This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo, Idlewild View, is on the third floor (top floor) of the award-winning Trailhead Lodges. The unit faces a meadow near the Fraser River and the Continental Divide. An elevator is available. Trailhead Lodges has a community center with an outdoor pool and spa, and also a workout room. Walk to restaurants, shopping, or Hideaway Park which is just across the street. The park includes sledding, skateboarding and jungle gym for kids. The free resort shuttle stop to the ski resort is just 50 yards from condo entrance.

Idlewild View is pet friendly fo a small nominal fee, so no need to leave your furry loved one at home.

The condo is professionally cleaned, beautifully decorated, fully furnished and appointed with all linens and cooking equipment. Granite, stainless steel, Cable/Sat. TV, stereo, and board games are provided. Master suite includes a bathroom and queen bed. Second bedroom includes a twin over full bunk and twin trundle bed underneath. The lower bunk is also a futon. There is a large flat screen TV and cozy fireplace in the spacious living area.

The community center in the complex is a world of its own with a large flat screenTV, WIFI, expanded cable, living room w/fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, fitness room, outdoor heated pool, fire pit, and hot tub. There are community grills or utilize the gas grill provided on the back deck for your cooking convenience.

Winter Park offers opportunities for the skier or non-skier. Winter Park Resort is a free shuttle ride or a 10 minute drive away. In town you will find sledding, ice skating, coffee shops and great restaurants. Stop by the nearby Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center to get information on year-round activities.

The resort shuttle stops outside the building for winter convenience. Hideaway Park across the street has a child's sledding hill and play equipment. In the summer, enjoy park activities such as festivals.

Ideal Place for a Summer Vacation

Our family of 4 stayed for 5 wonderful summer nights. The location is ideal and within walking distance or a very short drive of everything in Winter Park. The condo was very new and nice with everything we needed to cook and relax. The pool and hot tub were super clean and nice!

Great location. Close to town and bus stop to the mountain. Pool and hot tub were a bonus for the kid. The condo was very nice but the housekeeping was little to be desired.

We stayed at this beautiful condo on a ski trip to Winter Park. It was beautiful, quiet and well taken care of. Our kids liked the bunk beds. The location was great- right next to Hideaway Park. The kids went sledding in the park also. The hot tub was nice. They could use a few more cooking tools, ie a colander- but other than that we loved it and would definitely stay here again. It was great that it is pet friendly also. I would definitely recommend this. It is in walking distance to many Downtown Winter Park restaurants and the ski shuttle stops right outside. The only other bummer was that the elevator was broken so we had to haul all our stuff up 3 flights of stairs. But, that shouldn't detract you from staying here. It is the nicest condo we have stayed in yet in Winter Park.

My husband and I came up from Denver for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Trailhead Lodge. The unit had a very homey feel and had everything we needed. It was also very quiet which allowed for a great nights sleep. The owner was easy to communicate with and the unit was as represented. There is a park right across the street and nice walking trails nearby which were perfect for our dog. We walked to dinner both nights because the condo was so conveinent to these amenities. We hope to be back this summer and on future visits to Winter Park!

We come out to Winter Park every year. This is a great place. It is right next to the park which my kids love. Had everything even a gas grill which we cooked great steaks on.
