You can attend a performance daily. Then there are all the outdoor activities. Golf, hiking, white water rafting, tennis swimming, everything you might expect to find in a rural country montain community. Wonderful things to do with children, there is a binder in the house listing the best. If you are a frequent vistor to Williamstown I need not convince you. If this might be your first visit, you will come back.
Every one has enjoyed this home: The house is a perfect place to stay if Williams College is your destination. Reunion weeknd, Homecoming, coming to tour the college, coming for golf? We have been booked for every event, hosting 3 couples, families of 8, The house has 2 bedrooms, but a large downstairs suite is like a provate apartment. The amenities are numerous and excellent. Most everything in the house is new. 42' flat screen TV new furnishings, wood burning fireplace, backyard area to BBQ, dine outside, or toast marshmellows around the back yard fire pit. I make every effort to make your holiday in my home wonderful.
If you are wondering why there are no recent reviews for this home, it has been mine for two years. As a newlywed and new to this area my husband started our life here. It was a perfect place to begin our new life. Everything is top notch. I enjoyed the beautiful kitchen. It is a bright and sunny house. The location is great. Even if you only get to spend a week you will always remember this house
We loved this house. Beautifully decorated home with everything you need to cook. Very convenient to the town and shopping. You can walk or drive. The yard is great for a night out sitting around a fire. Took some day trips to Vermont and the surrounding areas. Super selection of restaurants.
We are a couple in our 40's. We wanted a mid week get away. The house is very nice, and is a terrific location for numerous activities. You can be in VT within 15 minutes, located within minutes of shopping, dining etc. The kitchen is very well equipped and even had some basics, such as salt and pepper. The only disappointment was the king size bed in the pictures of master bedroom was replaced with a full size bed, which was not to our liking. The towels really need replacing as well as the bed linens. We are not nit picky people and it didn't affect our vacation, but we felt it was worth mentioning. We really spent most of our time relaxing in the TV room, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great property, inside and out. Beautifully maintained, clean and well-stocked with linens, towels, kitchen equipment, etc. The house easily accommodated our large, diverse group for a long weekend, with plenty of private sleeping spaces and lots of comfortable dining and socializing spots.Wonderful yard, including a fire pit.
Great location for any Williamstown events (about a mile to town/college) and easy drives to other local attractions. The owner was very helpful and answered all questions quickly. We highly recommend this property.
Our family decided to make our Easter celebration as easy as possible this year. Someone always has so much work to do. The Berkshire was a central location for my family, and we had heard good things about the area.
One of my newphews is applying to college next year and we picked Williamstown so he could take a look at the college. We loved the the town and my husband and I look forward to coming this summer for the Theater Festival. We only live 125 miles from the area and we had no idea of all the wonderful things that go on there during the summer.
I had selected the house, so I felt responsible that everyone was happy. They all loved it, even the teeanagers. It has a great set-up for several families coming together. My elderly parents can be hard to please sometimes and they loved it. The house is more spacious than it looks in the pictures. It was still very chilly so the fireplace was welcome.
We could have cooked a wonderful Easter meal in that kitchen, but we had planned to order our dinner.Corinne directed us to the "wild oats" market and we ordered everything we wanted. It was a delicious meal.
The house is so nice, well furnished, lots of extras, we felt very much at home. If you want a hassle free holiday sometime this is a great place.
This house is so bright and fresh. It has been organized very well its easy to find what you need. There were many things provided in the house that surprised me. I did not have to buy olive oil or cooking wine for one meal. Wood for the fireplace and lots of toys for our baby to play with. I might add that we felt very comfortable with our 20month old crawling around. MK
Corinne was so helpful and accommodating. She has created such a dream home; she clearly loves to decorate and has created a place that is warm and welcoming at the same time. We had such a nice stay. The house was clean and organized and well equipped. Wish we could have stayed longer! thank you! We will definitely be back!
