Perfect Gathering Spot

A family funeral brought 10 of us from around the country to San Diego on very short notice. One call to the owner was all that was needed to make every arrangement. Even though the owners were in residence at the time of my call, they vacated the house to accommodate us!
When we arrived late at night, the housekeeper was there to greet us warmly and give us a tour of the large comfortable home. The owners had thoughtfully left us lots of bottled water in the fridge and coffee for the morning, as well as many other niceties. The owner, Kelly, called in the morning, offered to run errands, iron a shirt, shop for groceries--she even took us to the airport at 5:30 in the morning, despite her own schedule as a busy working mom. Her warm kindness and thougtfulness made it possible for us to enjoy being together as a family at a very difficult time.
The home is rambling, spacious and comfortable, with large areas for gathering as well as smaller cozy areas to retreat and have privacy. The pool area is just as fabulous as it looks in the pictures, with a hot tub, large deck, grill, etc; the master bedroom is huge and there is a wonderful kitchen, fully equipped. Stunning views and lovely neighborhood.
It is the perfect place for a family gathering.
