Lovely time at the Regattas

Our time in Marsh Harbour was delightful. The property was clean, quiet and in a very desirable location in Marsh Harbour. The beach was very clean and quiet, there was always a lounger available. Great snorkelling out front. The pool was cold, we much preferred to swim in the ocean. Laundry was expensive, and it was difficult to find change in town for laundry. The unit was clean and stocked with all we needed. It would have been useful to have a phone for local calls in the unit, but there was a pay phone on the property. We were within walking distance to the ferry, restaurants, shopping and grocery store, but did need to take a taxi back with groceries. Taxis were readily available and on time. 2 weeks was possibly too long, as we felt very relaxed after 1 week and were looking for more adventure in the 2nd week. Also, most of the residents were over 50 years old, we are in our early 30s and traveled with our 2 year old, so there weren't many people our own age to connect with. We did find more people in our demographic in Hopetown on Elbow Cay.
