This very modern, well appointed Provincetown condo provides vacationers a wonderful Cape Cod retreat. It is private and peacefully situated -,away from the crowds, yet a very short walk to all Provincetown has to offer: one block walk to galleries, the bay beaches, fabulous restaurants, an easy walk to the center of town, and an easy cycle or summer shuttle to the Cape’s fabulous ocean beaches. Amenities include: fully-equipped kitchen, (granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances), gas fireplace, in-unit washer and dryer, wireless internet, private deck with Jenn air grill, hardwood floors, central AC, and central vacuum. This is a newer construction (six years old). Reserved parking. Space to work (if you must work!) California king size bed, queen size bed, and full size futon couch. Larger unit (820 square feet).
The owner is very responsive, friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful condo with comfortable bedrooms, clean bathroom, and every utility you can think of, including coffee pot (and coffee!) and all sorts of pans and plates. The location is extremely convenient, with only 10min walk to downtown P-town with all kinds of restaurants, galleries and attractions. Very nice and affordable! We enjoyed our short vacation and will definitely come back if we are staying at P-town again!
Four of us (two couples) just finished a stay here and couldn't have been happier with everything. Beautiful new unit in a quiet spot off Bradford street that's an easy 10min walk to the heart of Commercial street.
The unit is new and very well equipped for a rental home. Clean, high end appliances, nice touches like Tempur-Pedic beds in both rooms (no cheap imitations), a wonderfully relaxing steam shower, even central music with volume controls in each room (CD player is in the front closet, though I couldn't figure out how to connect my iPhone.) Every dish, utensil, and other odd item we had a need for during our stay seemed to have been thought of, from beach towels and an iron down to a pair of scissors (?!). It was like returning to a sanctuary after a long day at the beach.
The deck was great - we ate outside quite a bit - and made good use of the grill. The workspace in the master bedroom was also a great corner if you need a space to focus for a bit.
We didn't experience any of the issues the previous reviewer had. Everything was exceptionally clean when we arrived... floors, linens, towels, etc. We *were* told by the caretaker, Priscilla, that the A/C had just been serviced when we arrived... it was reliably ice cold for us during our entire stay... she told us to let her know if we had any issues at all. (The owner also emailed me to see how things were going / ask if the AC was working well a day into our stay, which I appreciated.)
This is high on my list of Provincetown accommodations. We'll definitely be staying here again.
Have you noticed there are only a few old reviews. The plus is this is a beautiful condo and close to everything. The footprint is great. The negative is we arrived at approximately 11pm last night. The sheets were dirty, food in the fridge from someone else. A bottle of ginger ale that had been expired since 11/13. Old dried coffee grounds in coffee pot. Carpet not cleaned, floors and rugs are disgustingly filthy. AC does not work and it is 82 in here tonight, very uncomfortable. The cable tv does not work. We notified the landlord 2 times about the air and no response. We chose this place over a place that was half this price because the parking was provided here, the other place had the landlord next door so if there had been an issue it could have been fixed. I sent pictures to the landlord and can provide proof if needed. Cleanliness is a huge issue here. Not sure either where the stereo and filtered water are also. We are here for our wedding and are hugely disappointed with this place. We don't get to spend our wedding and honeymoon in comfort. Our advice, pass this place up and do your self a favor. We have to spend another 5 days here.
Love this 800+ sq. foot getaway. All the amenities you need. Close walking distance to everything. Friendly owner (easy to deal with). Just a wonderful place to get away from it all.
We had a fantastic weekend in this condo over Labour day weekend. It was a really busy time of year and what was lovely about the condo's location was that we were near all the hustle and bustle yet could easily escape to the quietness this apartment had to offer. It is set slightly far back from the road and the decking looks out on a wooded area. Great BBQ! The property itself was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and we would absolutely recommend it to friends and family. The outside decking is quite shaded but we spent every day at the beach anyway!
Recommended activities - We hired bikes and cycled down to Truro for the wine tasting and then carried on the Truro's seafood market to buy fresh lobster. A thing to note - there isnt anywhere in Provincetown itself where you can buy fresh, local seafood. Quite strange for its location! We also cycled around the sand dunes behind the house which was really fun. There are new bikes paths weaving from beach to beach so very accessible. Karoo Cafe is a fun, relaxed and tasty option for dinner! Enjoy!
What can I say other than perfect? I have always enjoyed all that P'town had to offer, but these accommodations made the experience even better. Could it be I was tempted to spend more time at home? This super clean home is super spacious and well-appointed in a manner that fits the environs and puts one at ease. The large sliding doors to the deck and backyard brighten the space and help bring a feeling of the outdoors in. The shower with its jets is a nice plus, as was the wireless. The owner was very easy to work with and thinks of a lot of little things so you don't have to. Location btw is terrific-close enough to walk to all, yet situated in a very quiet and private setting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and it will top my wishlist on my next trip to P'town. Speaking of which: Be sure to bike the path by the beach and dunes and dance at Boatslip's T if that's your thing. Bubala's is not fine dining perhaps, but reliably tasty and priced right. I also enjoy the galleries a great deal.Bottom line: fun town + wonderful accommodations = perfect getaway!
