Most unique in Pavones Rainforest Area the Real Costa Rica! A Magical Place! Girls of ESPN'S ''Fish on'' and ''Totally Hooked'' enjoyed their stay here, more then once! Our home is nestled on 7 private acres purchased to preserve the ancient virgin rain forest surrounding it and elevated above the beach to capture the cool breezes of the afternoon and evenings and away from insects often found at beach level. Spectacular 180 degree view of the surf breaks (no surf report needed) and the entire Golfo Dulce. One of the most spectacular views in Costa Rica. Families of three different kinds of monkeys live around the home as well as many toucans, parrots and sloths. Enjoy all the sounds of the jungle as you awaken. Have your morning coffee on the deck while checking the surf breaks with all the little creatures abound and birds soaring.

Paradise!: Experience this still pristine paradise of Southern Costa Rica rain forest, where horses still run the beaches and wild life abounds right to your deck. The surrounding deck borders the jungle a few feet away.

Octagon Home!: This Octagon home offers hot outdoor showers by the pool and cabana, stone floors, huge 16? granite island separating the open kitchen and living room, marble & glass baths, custom cabinetry, mostly stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove & oven, two large crispers in addition to the refrigerator, blender, toaster and all you need for home cooking! Satellite TV, A/C, vaulted ceilings in all buildings - beautifully finished! There are five glass sliding doors in the main room alone bringing in the feel of the jungle next to you, elevated decking everywhere and off the bedroom upstairs, underground utilities, washer/dryer, gas BBQ, finished off with painted murals and gorgeous art work. Hammocks and deck furniture are by the pool. A large covered deck is overlooking the ocean. A mature orchard and new caretaker’s home are on the estate. True peaceful enjoyment without resort crowds!

Our local agent Scott speaks ENGLISH and his assistant speaks SPANISH. They will meet you for check in and take you to the property and meet you at check out. They personally arrange horseback riding, offer meals, and assist you in securing other activities. Stand Up Paddling, Kite Surfing and Surfing Lessons and Tours; Sport Fishing, and Waterfall Trips. Cleaning available on request.

  • All bathrooms are nice, new, and clean as the home was just built. The Guest Bath is located in the main house and is a nice size with a shower as well. The Master Suite has it's own attached bathroom. The Cabinas offer a beautiful out door tropical shower and an inside bathroom as well!

I agree with a previous review that the photos don't do justice to the view. The house is on a hill, and the views of both sea and sky are stunning. I hardly wanted to leave the house and spent hours on the porch drawing and photographing the beautiful scenery. We saw and heard different species of monkeys, parrots, and other interesting creatures. The house was well stocked and cared for. The caretaker was super friendly and did a good job of keeping the place up, making recommendations for local activities, and even taking us through the markets at the Panama border. Great stay... hope to be back soon!

The ultimate family jungle getaway

This beautiful home had all the amenities of home, all placed in a spectacular setting. Surrounded by a flowering jungle with a stunning ocean and Osa Peninsula view. Our family of 5 loved the kitchen, the open floor plan and the hammocks on the deck to relax in. Swimming in the clean lap length pool was very refreshing. The property was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed seeing monkeys, a slow moving sloth and colorful Scarlet Macaws. I hope to return every year!

What a gem! Beautiful home, surrounded by jungle. Great breezes; the beach is at bottom of hill. Home is super well equipped, caretaker attentive and helpful. Easy to get to both Pavones and Zancudo. Wildlife comes to you! Monkeys, birds abound. Don't miss a dinner at Zancudo Lodge and massage with Kate - Helping Hands Massage.

Our week long stay was very relaxing as we enjoyed the beauty of the home and the rain forest. The caretakers of the property were extrremely accomodating and attentive to any need we expressed including arrival on helicopter!
