Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Welcome to our beautiful, bright, newly updated cottage within walking distance to the beach and Night Heron Park/Pool. Located in a private and gated community, our cottage is decorated in a colorful 'coastal' theme, complete with premier bedding and designer finishes. Relax in the private master bedroom with King size bed, full bath, and private deck. Two additional bedrooms, each with twin beds and second full bathroom.

The fully equipped eat-in kitchen has newer appliances and upgrades including natural stone floor as well as washer & dryer. The dining room easily seats six, and adjoins two comfortable living areas with WBFP and ample seating. Enjoy Flat Screen Televisions: Living Rm. has 46' cable with HD; HBO and Showtime channels and DVD; radio/CD player as well as high speed internet access. The Master has 22' TV/DVD with basic & digital cable. The other two bedrooms have 22' flat screen TV/DVD/cable; front B.R. has 22' flat screen/cable. This cottage is nestled in the trees, has a front porch and a screened in rear porch for bird watching, reading, or game playing as you overlook the lagoon.

The location of our cottage is adjacent to the 21 acre Night Heron Park which is the center for all children's activities including heated pools, Night Heron Grill, Kamp Kiawah and other recreational amenities. This location also boasts playgrounds, soccer fields, lighted basketball courts, volleyball courts and the Kiawah Island Nature Center. Walk to the Night Heron Pool or ride bikes to the gorgeous,wide ten miles of beaches on Kiawah. If you prefer, walk or ride on the unending walking and bike trails to convenient shopping areas, or any of the world-famous golf courses and tennis centers. The beautiful new Sanctuary Hotel is also just a few minutes bike ride away.

Freshfield's Village, a quaint shopping area just outside Kiawah's gate is convenient for groceries, shopping, entertainment and dining. Enjoy Freshfields with a cup of java, or an ice cream cone from the local drug store. While on Kiawah, you won't want to miss beautiful Charleston, SC with all its attractions. This historical city was rated as the number two destination city in the USA in the November 2009 issue of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine. We had a wonderful time. The cottage is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The Kiawah Island Resort staff were delightful . . . the epitome of Southern hospitality. We enjoyed the pool and nature center at Night Heron Park right across the street as well as cooling off a the beach. Lots of good times in Charleston as well. We love it and can't wait to go back.

What an amazing week! Kiawah is truly an island paradise! The accommodations were excellent. The house is roomy and the decor sets the perfect tone for a tropical getaway. The beds were extremely comfortable and the fireplace provided the perfect end to our days. We are planning to return and recommend this to all our friends and acquaintances. Thank you so very much for sharing your home with us!

You will love this place! One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The cottage is extremely family friendly and beautifully decorated. You feel like there is nothing else going on in the world when you are here. Enjoy the beautiful sands and outstanding ambiance in Kiawah Island.
