Porth Farm House, Porth Farm Annex and Lane cottage are part of an old farm that was converted to self catering holiday accommodation the 1930's and has been gently upgraded since.
Situated in several acres on the undeveloped side of the coast road and 600 metres from the beach, they are south facing and have lovely views of the valley and the sea .
Over the years our customers have found it an ideal place for children to be independent within safe but stimulating surroundings while parents can have a good rest.
There is a large shared grassy play area with swings, a zip wire and an old wooden boat.
There is also a table tennis room. Art classes are run in the summer holidays for children.
PORTH FARM is open all year round. Open fires and cosy interiors make it an excellent place for off-season breaks.
5 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach and stunning cliff walks as well as pub,cafe,tennis courts,pitch & putt,restaurant & shops.Farm shops are 15 minutes walk away.

Tucked into the hillside at the end of the lane the house is south facing, with a sunny lawn and superb views out to sea and inland over the lovely Lanherne valley, with the moors in the distance.
originally owned by an acclaimed architect who re-modelled the house in the 30's with a unique eye. It is a sunny warm house, with two double bedrooms (one with a dressing room), one twin bedded room and one with bunks; all with fitted carpets; three have wash basins. Also on the first floor is the bathroom and separate w/c.
Stairs open into a large living room, with beams and a polised oak floor. The sitting end has three loose-covered sofas. At the other end is a dining table and serving hatch to the kitchen.
The front door is protected by a porch with space for coats,wellingtons etc
There are some nice cedar-wood doors and window sills, a large desk under the west window and an old piano.
The kitchen has a huge old teak draining board with double sinks,a stone sink, pine dresser and a large slate shelved larder. Also a fridge freezer, electric cooker and washing machine. A back door leads to a coal shed and w/c with a summer shower.
A storage heater gives background warmth.
Bed linen is provided only .

Adjoining Porth Farm and built into the hillside, this house was once the dairy . It has been extended over a garage to create a large sunny open -plan room, .It has a polished maple floor and
big south facing windows giving wonderful views over valley and sea .
Furnishing includes easy chairs , a desk and a fine helm fine table .
The front door opens into a grassy sun-trap carved into the hill , with steps leading down the lane.
A pine partition forms an alcove , curtained to make a double bedroom . A teak counter and pine shelves divides the dining area from he kitchen which catches all the morning sunshine.
It has a larder , stainless double sink , teak draining board, cooker and fridge, etc. A stable door opens onto the grassy hillside ,with handy washing line and steps to the play area.
through the thick wall a door and landing takes you to the bathroom and wc, and a carpeted bedroom with double and single bed,
Down the stairs is a lobby for coats etc. With a door to the garage, a door to a large shower room and another to a double bedroom. Beyond the double bedroom is a bunk bedroom and off this again a w/c with washing machine and sink.
There is a night storage heater in the living room, another downstairs and electiric fires.
LANE COTTAGE ( 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 )
Situated down the lane from the annex, lane cottage has south facing windows opening onto a lawn giving wide views of the Lanherne valley and the sea.
A small bathroom with w/c and a double bedroom open off the living room.
From the bedroom a short, steep, narrow, cupboard staircase leads up to a low, sloping cielinged attic room with two single beds and a sea view. Perhaps more suitable for children.
