Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

This quaint and cozy cottage is situated in the quiet and beautiful New Hampshire countryside making it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage shares approximately 33 acres with our classic New England farmhouse. It is located roughly 100 feet from the house and around 200 feet from our privately owned sandy beach on peaceful Lake Winona. The next closest neighbor in any direction lives around 500 feet away. A country road divides our property in two with the house and cottage on one side and the lakefront and beach on the other. However, the traffic is minimal because we are located in a very rural area. The beach is a brief walk across the street and down a modest hill from the cabin. A limited, but beautiful, view of the surrounding mountains and the lake is visible from the cottage porch.

Heaven like, water access area well groomed and cared for. Cottage photos and description - right on. Screened porch allows even rainy weather to be enjoyed with beverage or coffee. Clean & well maintained. Owner/neighbor - personable, conscientious and very knowledgeable of area. Close to Harts Turkey Farm, Weirs Beach, Funspot, Meredith/Laconia, and 93 to head north to White Mountain attractions or south to Tilton’s, Tanger Outlets. But leaving the pleasures of Lake Winona's swimming /tanning wasn't on my agenda. Listen to Loons during the day @ midnight & around 4 a.m. while enjoying a thunder/ lightning and soothing rain. Bring radio or MP3 player to add to the serenity of relaxing on the screened in porch or at beach. Relaxing, refreshing, peaceful and very enjoyable. Been visiting Lakes Region for decades and absolutely found a piece of heaven.

Beautiful, idyllic and fun!

The pictures don't do this place justice - it's just breathtaking and beyond relaxing. We enjoyed a week of swimming off the lovely beach, grilling, kayaking, and top-water fishing for large and smallmouth bass. There are also some great restaurants and shops nearby; definitely try the Common Man. Bruce is a fantastic guy and couldn't have been a better host, thanks so much for making our vacation so wonderful!

A Nice Spot

This is a perfect cozy cabin for a couple to spend a relaxing vacation in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The screen porch is great for reading and playing music and the lakefront across the road is lovely at any time of day, but especially in the evening. It's quiet and rural but still close to Meredith and the more touristy Weirs Beach.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Lake Winona Perfect Vacation Location

The cabin is the perfect size for two people, very clean and well maintained, Lake Winona is a great place for anyone who is out to catch trout or bass, boat dock was very accessible and close to cabin. Great beach area and cook out set ups.

The owner / operator Bruce is very helpful and a kind person, Bruce even came by with a Happy Birthday Greeting for my wife, I would recommend this rental to anyone.
