We had a great stay at this cabin. It is located in a very quiet area, and felt very peaceful since almost none of the neighbors were home when we were there (the weekend after Presidents Day). The Big Trees Supermarket is still close by though. The cabin felt very clean, not dusty or run down at all. It doesn't have the feeling of a 'sterile' rental, but you can fell that the owners love their own place and they take good care of it. The pictures don't do the cabin justice, maybe more wider angle pictures will help. It is nice that the cabin has a downstairs 'lounge' where the kids can play or watch TV, while the adults hang out upstairs (where there is a flat screen TV as well, and iPod connection for music.). My kids loved playing with the foosball/shuffle board and we had all fun playing Pong on the Atari. There are loads of board games, DVDs etc. The wall of windows in the upstairs living room/kitchen level is very nice. Great view through the trees, and you don't really look directly at other cabins. In the summer it must be nice as well when you can sit outside on the deck. The kitchen is also fully stocked, with pots and pans. The open walkaround fireplace in the middle of the living room is very enjoyable as well, and it burns real wood! The beds were were comfortable, I think one of them even has some kind of tempur pedic pad. All in all, the cabin was very cosy and warm and we would recommend this place for sure, we would stay here again!
My wife and I and our two little dogs retreated here for a long Presidents Day weekend. The cabin was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Great beds, well appoinrted kitchen, comfortable living quarters, and a great 360 fireplace. Plenty of lovely scenerey in the area to take in. It was just what we needed and well priced.
Such a great place- thank you! We really enjoyed our time here. We had everything we needed to make a perfect Christmas meal and the kids had such a great time playing in the loft. All the "little touches" were really appreciated. Look forward to staying here again!
