Condo, Studio + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

On the 2nd floor of an ancient building with elevator, the apartment has been recently renovated in an elegant and contemporary style. It is a large and perfectly organized space with a lot of natural light coming from the windows overlooking a quiet Trastevere street.

The entire apartment is designed tastefully with parquet wood flooring and white furniture. The sleeping area houses a queen sized tatami bed and a wide wardrobe. The living room is spacious and comfortable: relax here by listening to music, watching a DVD or planning your excursions for the next day.

You can also find a comfortable double sofa bed suitable for the 3rd and 4th guest. If you choose to cook some of the wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables bought at the local outdoor market, the kitchen is modern and fully equipped making cooking a pleasure. Finally, a beautifully designed bathroom completes the apartment and includes a Jacuzzi bathtub/shower unit, ideal to relax completely after long walks in the city.

The whole apartment is fitted with air conditioning and central heating. All linens and towels are provided. This wonderful and renovated apartment is a great choice for your visit to Rome. The open plan apartment has been very tastefully decorated in an elegant style, ensuring the comfort of the guests while at the same time creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Why The Owner chose Trastevere area

The apartment is situated in the heart of Trastevere, the picturesque medieval area located on the west bank of the Tiber. Part of the historical centre of Rome, Trastevere is the perfect place to glimpse a bit of the old world while still enjoying the lifestyle of today's Romans. From the cobblestone streets to the overhanging laundry lines, senses are pleasantly awakened with every step you take in this bohemian neighborhood. Equidistant from the Coliseum and the Vatican, Trastevere is an ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome on foot. Saint Peter's and the Vatican city are about twenty minutes away and upon crossing the Tiber you get to Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum, and many other sights, all within 20 to 30 minutes walking. If you want to take public transportation, the area is extremely well served by the electric buses of Rome.

What makes this condo unique

A few blocks from the apartment, you can find the outdoor market of Campo de' Fiori, where tented booths display a bountiful array of tantalizing fruits and vegetables, or the Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, the most popular gathering place in the area. In this square you will find the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in Rome which is very much worth a visit. The area becomes very lively at night as it is full of trendy bars and dozens of quality restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste great Italian food at reasonable prices.

My husband and I spent six nights in Rome in this wonderful apartment. It is, a 20 minute walk to both the Colesseum and the Vatican. It is situated in the vibrant Trastevere district surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. The apartment is well laid out, comfortable, clean, quiet and well maintained. The owner, Isabella met us at the apartment on our arrival and helped us to settle in. She was lovely and very helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family. We had a fantastic time and hope to stay there again when we are next in Rome.

Great Studio in Trestavere

My wife and I had five nights here in early Sept 2012 and we throughly enjoyed the apartment.

The photos and descriptions were exactly as we found the apartment. The elevator and all the amentities worked perfectly and Isabella did everything that she promised. The place was clean and tidy and the free wifi worked great. Because it was so hot for our first four days we were glad to have the A/C.

The neighborhood was full of night life, restaurants and bars. Taverna Trilussa, Spirito DiVino and Sabatini were the restaurants that were in walking distance from the apartment that we enjoyed. Also a great gelato place called Fior di Luna. We could not have picked a better area to stay in Rome. Everything that we needed was nearby or just a short cab ride away.

If you are interested in a small yet roomy place in this area I would heartily reccommend this studio.

My wife and I spent 8 days in Rome in late January and we highly recommend this apartment. Great location, especially if you like to walk. You are 15 minutes from The Vatican, and 20 minutes from historic city centre. The apartment is quiet and has everything you need. The neighborhood is full of life. Communication with the owner was first-rate and the driver she uses picked my wife up at the airport and delivered both of us there when it was time to leave. The photos of the apartment are accurate. It was clean, safe and a great place to make a base.

My partner and I stayed in this lovely apartment for 8 days over the Christmas holidays. It was so incredibly well located and in such a beautiful & fun neighborhood. Isabella met us on the first day and gave us some great tips, e.g. nearby & yummy Augusto restaurant. The apartment is just as cute as the photos and pretty quiet, especially given the lively neighborhood. It's located just a block from the Tiber River... a quick walk to Campo de Fiori and just about any tourist sites of major interest. We walked everywhere and often just wandered around cute Trastevere as well. We can't wait to return to Rome and would love to stay here once again!

Wonderful location and apartment!

My sister and I stayed at this apartment in November, and it suited our needs perfectly. There are lots of wonderful restaurants nearby. It's only a few steps from the beautiful Ponte Sisto. Isabella took the time to carefully explain everything we needed to know. I would definitely return to this property again when we come back to Rome. It's in a busy area but with the windows closed we couldn't hear any noise from outside. We were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to do, but there is public transportation close by. We particularly enjoyed going to the Porta Portese market on Sunday morning...a lot of junk but also very interesting antiques.
