You will also want to visit the Ding Darling Refuge to see all of the exotic birds, and even alligators. Kayaking in the Refuge is another great way of seeing the natural beauty of the island.

Second time here - Love this Condo - Amazing view - Wonderful Accomodations - Sanibel is paradise.
My husband, 7 yr. old daughter, and I stayed for one week. The 1 bedroom condo was nicely furnished with beach chairs and toys. The condo description and pictures accurately reflected the property. The condo works great for a couple (or couple with one small child). We had an air-conditioning issue upon arrival but the front office took care of it quickly!
We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the overall peacefulness of the resort and island. Overall, the property was clean and well-maintained. The shared pool was adequate for the number of guest during our week. My only negative comment was the cleanliness of the pool. It didn't seem to get enough attention from the grounds keeper.
We look forward to a return visit to the island!
We had a wonderful stay and certainly enjoyed the condo with its beautiful view of the gulf. The condo is not overly large, but was very comfortable for my wife and I. The pictures posted on the website are a very accurate depiction of the condo. It is very tastefully decorated and well maintained. Marsha (the owner) was very informative and a pleasure to deal with.
Sanibel is a quiet, laid-back island, but with great restaurants and shops.
Both Sanibel and this condo are "Highly Recommended".
We are located on the historical East End of the island. We are within walking distance of the Historical Sanibel Lighthouse. It is a beautiful walk along the beach where you can see alot of the exotic birds, and dolphins feeding along the shore, and pick up some beautiful seashells on your walk. If you have never been to Sanibel Island before you are in for a treat. It is one of the most unique islands you will ever stay on. There are lots of things to do,or just take a chair and your book and relax on the beautiful beach for the day. There are great restaurants to visit in the evening. Whatever your pleasure I know you will enjoy your stay in 5B2 at Sandalfoot Condos.
