Serene Spot, Spacious Condo!

We stole away for a very last-minute road trip to Chincoteague and I'm so glad we found this spot! The owner was quick to respond to my morning inquiry and the reservation was finalized within 2 hours. By 3pm, we were on the road! We picked up the keys and the linens we rented and headed right over to the condo just as the sun was setting on the bay. The view as soon as you walk in the front door, is SPECTACULAR! The photos on the site definitely did not do it justice! The kitchen is huge and well-appointed and the open floorplan is great for a relaxing atmosphere. The TV/entertainment area could've been better organized and a little more beefed up (small table, wires showing, remote missing, etc) but since it was just the two of us, and we hardly spent any time in front of the tv, it wasn't a huge deal. We spent most of our time on the large wraparound deck. The weather was mild and we hung out with a bottle of wine almost every evening. Because it was the offseason, the condo units were mostly empty. We only saw about a dozen other people over 4 days of being there. It was nice- felt very private and we could enjoy the view with the blinds open. The master bedroom was large and also had an amazing view. There was one dresser, 2 nightstands and 2 large closets. Another dresser would've been a hit, as would a TV, but the bed was insanely comfortable and the sheets we rented thru the property manager were high thread count and very, very comfy... I could've spent a whole weekend napping in that bed! :) The master bathroom has an amazing stand up shower, jacuzzi tub, toilet and his & hers sink vanity. There was lots of space for both of us to move around and plenty of storage for unpacking toiletries. We didnt use the other 2 bedrooms but they were both large and had basic furniture included. That side of the condo also included a bathroom that we didnt use, but looked to be a typical 2nd bathroom. In regards to the area of Chincoteague, I thought the Villas were the perfect spot. You're in walking distance to all the restaurants/shops, there's a bike rental place just steps away from the parking lot and we biked everywhere we wanted to go- we hardly used the car. Overall, we were thrilled with our decision to rent this property and we're hoping to return again soon!
