Perfectly located and made us feel like real Paris

My fiancé and I rented the Marais flat for 5 days at the end of November. It was in the middle of a 2 week trip throughout France and Switzerland. I stayed in Le Marais the last time I was in Paris (13 years ago!) and loved it and we knew this was going to be the perfect location for our 5 days.
The apartment itself is located on Rue Vieille du Temple, an historic and busy street filled with shops, restaurants and cafe/bars. There is a fantastic restaurant literally across the street called Les Philosophes which I cannot recommend enough. The apartment is located between two Metro stops (St. Paul and Hotel de Ville), but we found St. Paul a little easier to walk to and less crowded.
The apartment is small, but no smaller than most urban studios. I, in fact, lived in one nearly the same size for 4 years in New York City. Despite it's small size, it is laid out very well and still has a little seating area in addition to the bed. We found the apartment cozy and warm and very quiet. Thanks to being on the 3rd floor at the back of the building, you really don't hear any of the busy street. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed. The kitchen has a sink, washer, refrigerator and 2-burner stove and a small supply of dishes, glasses and cups. It was plenty for a 5-day stay. We even used the washer, although this meant hanging all of our clothes inside the apartment for a few days. It was still very handy.
The walk up the spiral staircase each day was sometimes arduous (since I'm not used to it), but it got easier as the days went on. There are only two "less-than-perfect" things about the apartment that I would want to let future guests know about :
(1) Shower and WC were tiny.
(2) As someone else mentioned, there aren't really "stocked" provisions in the apartment. This isn't that odd, really, but it's just something to note before you arrive that you will likely have to buy coffee, milk, butter, oil, etc. if you plan on using the kitchen. There is a very nice little market just around the corner, however - Le Marche Franprix on Rue du Bourg Tibourg - where you can find just about everything you need.
Giovanni and Aurelien were amazing. The best communication I've ever had when renting an apartment and they were both so incredibly professional and kind. This apartment was one of the best values on our trip and I would absolutely stay here again.
