3 bedrooms, sleeps 8 people comfortably

Just a short drive from most major cities, this lovely 1500 sq. ft., 3-bedroom lakefront home is located on Channel Lake adjoining all-access Lake George in West Branch. Public access to Lake George is 1/4 mile away. We are located within a short drive to championship golf courses, canoe liveries, hiking trails, cross-country ski and snowmobile trails. You are also just 10 minutes away from downtown West Branch where you will find the Tanger Outlet Mall, antiques, fine dining, a movie theater, bowling and other small town amenities. We are also located 11 miles away from the Cole Canoe Base Boy Scout Camp so you have a comfortable place to stay while your kids are at camp. The lake has great fishing for bass, pike and panfish. Swim from the dock, launch a kayak or the pedal boat, or jump in an innertube for cooling off on hot summer days. Sit by the fire pit and enjoy some s'mores or sit on the swing and watch the sun set. Be sure to watch for the hummingbirds that visit.

Last summer, we vacationed at this cottage, twice. What a wonderfull cottage. Quiet, roomy, beautifull scenery, great fishing, excellent swimming, no worry about power boats on the lake because of the privacy. And it's close enough to the local stores to run out and get anything that you forgot to bring from home. We took our 6 kids there and had plenty of room for everyone. Plus, there is plenty of room to put up tents down by the water, next to the fire pit. We will return again for sure.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
