This tastefully appointed, light-filled home is situated on the serene north bay of Cass Lake, the largest, 1280 acres, inland all sports lake in southeastern Michigan.

Dock your boat right in front of the Lake House. Swim or fish or just watch the swans in the bay, it is all outside your door. The sophisticated Lake House features leather sofas, hardwood floors, central air, wifi and a natural fireplace in the lounging area. There is an oak and granite kitchen and separate dining room ready for entertaining. The large private deck is positioned in a courtyard layout with two umbrella tables and chairs for 12. Sit in the double adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the fresh air of the trees across the bay. Also a carpeted dock with ladder tempts any swimmer to jump in! Costco and Sam's Club are nearby for groceries along with Meijers and Krogers.

Many restaurants in trendy Royal Oak and Birmingham to choose from and only 20 minutes away. Visit the Casinos in Detroit: Motor City, Greektown and MGM Grand. Also,visit Canada's Windsor Casino, it is located across the Detroit River via Tunnel or the Ambassador Bridge, about 10 minutes from Downtown Detroit. Sports Arenas: Joe Louis for the Red Wings, Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers and Ford Field for the Detroit Lions. The Detroit Opera House, Music Hall, Fisher Theatre, Fox Theatre and the Gem Theatre are all located in Downtown Detroit and offer great entertainment.

For Car Enthusiasts: Sports Car Racing at Waterford Hills Raceway and Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn.

In August, Classic cars at Meadowbrook Concours d' Elegance in Rochester and the Annual Dream Cruise of collector cars on Woodward Avenue.

The State Park, Dodge Park #4 is located at the beginning of our bay and has 139 acres and one mile of shoreline with a beautiful sandy beach. The surrounding cities on the lake include: West Bloomfield, Orchard Lake, Keego Harbor and Waterford Township.

It is appointed with a queen sleeper sofa and bathroom. The King Lakefront Bedroom has a king-size bed and access to the deck. The romantic Merlot Bedroom has a king-size bed and a rollaway bed. For additional space, there is a small loft with two large windows with a bullt in ladder for the adventurous to climb and room enough for a couple of your sleeping bags. The Sunset Cottage is available next door that sleeps an additional 10 -12. Three bedrooms: Four post queen bed with powder room, Second bedroom is lakefront with a queen bed, twin beds and a futon; Third bedroom has a queen bed. This was our third time back to the lake house. It is a beautiful home with great views, a dock and cleats to hook up your boat. It is very tranquil yet close to a lot of tourist sites if you want activity. The owners are wonderful. They are friendly and accommodating in every way. They are actually now our friends :) We can't wait to go back next year, we may even make a family reunion out of it and rent both houses.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Our four night stay was so comfortable and warm. The house was well stocked. we threw a dinner party for 13 comfortably. The views were serene. The landlords delightful. We loved the shopping in Birmingham. WE SHALL RETURN!!!!!!
