Welcome to your home away from home on the beautiful barrier island of Sanibel Florida. If you are a discriminating renter, this is the condo for you! This is not your typical vacation rental. Whether you are wanting to come to Sanibel for a week or an extended stay this is the unit for you. Our top floor unit is located at the end of the building to provide solitude and privacy and can be accessed from stairs or an elevator.
The unit is professionally decorated with a tropical plantation flair using Tommy Bahama furnishings, wood plank ceilings, plantation shutters, and ceiling fans. Wall length slidable patio screen doors allow the unit to be fully opened up to allow fresh Florida air inside the unit.
Each bedroom and the living room area have flat screen televisions for viewing cable television. A DVD player is provided as well in the living room area. The updated kitchen is fully stocked with all your necessities including coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pots and pans, bakeware, glassware, silverware and every utensil and bowl you could possibly need! Extra linens and towels are provided as well. No need to take the time or space to pack any of the home essentials!
You will enjoy sunshine in the unit from morning until late afternoon. Although this unit is partial oceanview, it is only steps away from the ocean as Loggerhead Cay is an oceanfront community. Loggerhead Cay is an exceptionally maintained property. The pool is noted as one of the largest pools on Sanibel and has nice lounge chairs for your comfort. The complex includes the pool, which is heated in the winter months, shuffleboard, tennis courts, and gas grills. We provide 3 beach chairs for your use as well as beach towels.
Additional amenities worth noting: washer and dryer inside our unit with detergents available; all local and long distance calls are free; safe is included in the master bedroom for safekeeping of any of your valuables; hairdryers are installed in both bathrooms for your convenience; and the bedroom alarm clocks also can be used as iPod docks for charging and playing music.
Our rental rates are posted. State and local taxes are in addition to the listed weekly rental rates. In addition, we do charge a $25 non-refundable rental fee. A 20% down payment for your reservation is required to guarantee your reservation date. The remaining balance for your rental is required to be paid at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Our cancellation policy is as follows: If something has changed for your reservation time, you must notify us 30 days prior to your reservation date. If 30 or more days notice has been given, we will be glad to fully refund your reservation charges minus a $50 cancellation fee. If less than 30 days notice has been given, we will refund 50% of your rate less the $50 cancellation fee.
