We purchased this property in 2007 and completed renovations in April 2009. We love the relaxation and quiet of the no-wake area where the lakehouse is located. We have four children ranging from 11-23 and there's plenty to do for all ages. We especially like the no-wake zone we're located in so our younger kids can take out the canoe and paddleboat and enjoy fishing in our private cove. At night it's very relaxing either sitting around the campfire or rocking on the chairs on our front porch overlooking the water. Mornings are beautiful as you wake up to the sun rising over the water.
Our main home is 25 minutes away from our Lakehouse so it's easy to go up and spend a nice, quiet weekend and reconnect as a family. We wanted something off the main lake but close enough to take the boat out and enjoy some tubing or knee boarding on the main lake.
The views are spectacular from inside and outside of the lakehouse. It's peaceful and quiet and you feel like you 'can get away from it all and relax'.
