Oh..why do vacations have to end! Thank you for sharing your tranquil and beautiful villa with us!! The views were amazing, the grounds are beautiful, the villa is so unique. The layout is perfect for enjoying private time and family time!! I could just sit by the pool all day and enjoy the peaceful views. Your staff was more than attentive and we felt like family by the time our stay came to an end. We are hoping to return soon!!! If you are looking for an adventurous vacation and like to be away from the crowded resort areas...this is perfect for you. My only piece of advice.....when you hear that driving is crazy in the DR...believe it!!! Thank you again for our wonderful vacation stay!!

We just got back from a most invigorating and refreshing holiday at this unique and gorgeous property on the north coast of the D.R. The layout of the buildings is dynamite with a great room in the center that has a spectacular view of the ocean in the distance and a delicious infinity pool in the foreground. The main tiki hut is an inspiring place to be at any time of day - with soaring ceilings, excellent dining facilities, a wonderful kitchen fit for the finest in gourmet cooking. The wi-fi and the satellite service allowed for full connection to the modern world. Food available locally, in particular from the fish markets, encouraged many fresh and delightful meals.

The atmosphere reflects a compelling blend of Balinese, African and Caribbean influenced decor. The guest rooms on either side of the main room are very spacious, clean, quiet and benefit from a flow-through design. The reliable breeze flowed in all the rooms non-stop, making sleeping and relaxing a slice of heaven at all times. The whole compound has a balance and feel that makes for a timeless and healing experience. With the soothing sound of the waves in the distance, the property is a prime spot for a very romantic getaway.

Outside, the infinity pool is virtually begging to be used, the grounds are immaculate, there is plenty of parking, easy access from the highway, though you would never know it is there. There is full time security provided, but the feel is distinctly laid back. The nearby beach, Playa Grande is a natural wonder with a long strand -- perfect for a rewarding stroll. We played golf at the stunning Playa Grande course nearby, had a wonderful time horseback riding (highly recommended) in the local hills. We lounged to our hearts content on the terrace, or on the pool deck or on the private deck of the guest buildings. So many places to relax deeply - be sure to bring some great reading material!

The web-site is accurate in its information and the photos are excellent....but they hardly do the property justice - it is just that beautiful.
The design of the buildings combined with its impeccable seaside location makes this a perfect spot for a memorable getaway. Very highly recommended.

This vacation home has a view to die for! And the infinity pool looks as though it melts into ocean! One thing you cannot "feel" from the beautiful photos is how the home's design takes full advantage of the most refreshing sea breeze, and yes you can hear the ocean from every room. The interior design is so open with gorgeous high ceilings, yet there is a warmth achieved with relaxed furnishings and nature-inspired touches. With the way the rooms are layed out there is privacy AND a wonderful socializing great room.

Attention to detail is evident everywhere. I even loved the fixtures in my bathroom! The property was immaculate and grounds very well maintained. The lovely landscaping makes even strolling back and forth to the main room and bedroom(s) a treat. I love the way there was grass throughout. The owner was very responsive with all my questions and made many recommendations to make our stay FANTASTIC---- If I could give this 6 stars, I would!

I also recommend the fun horseback riding which the owner suggested.
