Fully renovated from top to bottom. The living space has been redesigned with a 'Great Room' open motif. Floors are Poured Concrete with a 3ft x 3ft tile effect. Ceilings are 16 feet with newly installed High Tech Fans. The fireplace is wood burning, and the result is grand. The kitchen features Thomasville custom cabinets and a 16 foot separate Island with a Corian counter top. Abundant drawer storage housing cook ware, serving pieces, 12 place setting dinnerware, (2 sets) 12 place setting flatware, 12 place setting of crystal stemware (12 water goblets, 12 white wine glasses, 12 red wine glasses). A separate pantry can be found on the west wall. Double dishwashers, one with dual washing drawers, can accommodate larger dinner parties. Separate utility/prep room off kitchen, includes abundant counter space, cupboard storage, deep cold/hot water sink, 2nd refrigerate/freezer, washer and dryer, access to two car garage.

This Vacation House has 'Extraordinary Views ': This vacation home has the most extraordinary views from every room. Watch the Catalina Mountains out the back while floating in the pool. At Dusk trade sides and watch the dramatic & colorful sunsets! To the South their is a wash where wildlife abounds. Birds, Hawks, and Jack Rabbits just to name a few.

Pool: Private heated pool with outdoor dining area for entertaining and relaxing. Enjoy the outdoor impressive Fireplace and Views. There is a second outdoor Fireplace with seating for 12.

Jewel of the Desert

This home truly was a jewel of the desert. It's actually nicer than depicted in the pictures, and it was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunsets from the patio, and the location of the property provided easy access to trailheads for hiking. Sabino Canyon and Ventana Canyon are just a short drive away. I would absolutely recommend this home to 50+ year old visitors who would like a private retreat in the desert.

Perfect vacation!

We truly enjoyed our recent long stay (month of august) in your residence. The house is ideally located, close to Sabino canyon for the hiking trails and the various bicycle trails. Upon our arrival, Brian took time to show us everything around. The house was in perfect condition and we enjoyed our daily swim and the outdoor barbecue. The house feels secluded, yet shopping centers and restaurants are close by.
Thanks Scott for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.
We hope to come back soon.

After twenty-plus hours of travel to the States followed by two weeks of driving and doing college campus tours for my daughter, a house to call homebase was needed. The attention to detail that you have given to this house is understated by both picture and discription. I believe that it may be best chacterized by that feeling called Home. A quick trip to CostCo and TraderJoes had both refrigerators and freezer stocked with everything needed to begin our month long Tucson Family and Friends reunion. One sacrifice made due to working and living abroad is, that precious time we lose with Family & Friends. Because your property has all the comforts of Home, we didn't need to spend time running out in search of anything, it was all provided. This thoughfulness made our time free during the day to take in all that we enjoy & miss about Tucson; of course, after our morning swim and coffee. Then each evening was filled with Family & Friends relaxing around a wonderful dinner prepared in the gourmet kitchen or on the poolside built-in barbecue grill. It is certainly our hope that once we are able to secure the dates of our 2012 vacation time we find your house/home available once again.

Absolutely Gorgeous

This property is exceptional and the photos don't really do it justice--it's so much better. Beautifully decorated, exquisitely finished, no detail has been left undone. Not the kind of furnishings you expect to find in a rental property. The kitchen is fantastic and fully stocked for anything you can imagine. The Master Bedroom is a haven unto itself and has the most amazing and comfortable bed. The location of the home assures complete privacy, while enjoying the peace and tranquility of the desert--and let's not forget the great views of both the Catalina and Rincon Mountains. Convenient location and meticulously maintained.

surprise that the furnishings are rather upscale. When we bought and remodeled the house, we furnished it in the element that we would enjoy when we're in residence and that we felt would be acceptable for guests.

Fabulous Stay

My husband & I decided to take a quick get away to seek some sun. We chose the Tucson Jewel of the Dessert as the photo's look so enticing.This description didn't even start to describe what we found when we arrived. Magical! The place is absolutely fantastic. There's so much privacy we never felt an eye was upon us. The appointments of the house remind me of the Architectural Homes monthly magazine layout of Ted Turner's place in New Mexico. Everything just went together. Though the owners quote in their description 2,200 sq. ft. it felt like 5,000 sq. ft. because everything is soooo open, I guess they call it the great room effect. We stayed in a lot, and really wanted to unplug. The kitchen had everything that I needed to create wonderful meals for us, including The Barefoot Contessa by Ina Garten, Cook Book Series! The Sunsets were beyond compare. We sat out on the front porch and watched them every night with our glass of wine. We capped off evenings with a skinny dip in the pool and snuggled in the lounge chairs by the outdoor fireplace and watched a zillion stars. Looking forward to our next get a way, can't wait!
