With your feet on the ground, the very lively and famous Albert Cuyp Market is just around the corner, where you may buy the best fresh vegetables, fruits and fish in town, along with cheese, spices, bric a brac, clothes, etc.
The Museumplein with the Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum are just a short stroll away, as is the Spiegel Quarter, great for antique shopping. But when you tire of all this culture, the lively Leidseplein with it pubs and discos is within walking distance.
And excellent public transport around the corner will take you anywhere in town. Or do as the locals and take a bike: bike rentals are nearby.
The “Pijp” area itself is the most popular quarter of town, with loads of intimate restaurants, cozy bars and a wide range of shops.
Layout and Amenities
The apartment is on the top part of a 19th century building that has recently been completely renovated to the highest possible degree, and above the Ruby Luxury split level apartment #295552.
The apartment consists of a large living & dining area (covering the whole top floor of the building) with open plan designer kitchen with large cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, convection and microwave oven and a half bathroom.
In the sitting area there is a big screen TV with DVD player and stereo set with CD and radio.
The living has a large balcony and stairs to the roof terrace. On the floor below you will find a large bedroom with king size bed (180*210), large wardrobe and bathroom with a tub and second toilet. The bedroom has a second TV.
Both living and bedroom have parquet floors.
The apartment can sleep 3 persons: 2 in the bedroom and 1 additional person in the living on very comfortable sleeper sofa, that fold out to 1 comfortable single bed.
High speed wireless internet access is included; on request we will also provide a laptop computer to no extra costs.
We can supply prepaid mobile phones for your convenience at no charge.
The bathroom has a hair dryer, towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
Includes all bed linens, towels etc.
The kitchen, supplied with dishes and utensils for 6 persons, is equipped with a large refrigerator and freezer, convection oven and a micro-wave.
There is a dishwasher, a coffee maker, toaster and all other necessary supplies.
Amenities such as fresh coffee, tea, milk, sugar, juice, cereals and spices to cook with you will find in the kitchen cupboards.
An ironing board and iron are available.
The apartment has central heating.
Laundry service and in-between cleaning is included with stays longer as a week. Before you arrive the apartment will be spotlessly cleaned and the beds made.
While all the rooms are non-smoking, smoking is allowed on the balcony and roof terrace.

The day and week pricing is up to 2 persons. Maximum sleeps in the apartment is 3; extra guest is € 30,= a night.
To make a formal booking we charge your credit card (Visa or Master Card) for 50% of the total. We do this by using PayPal.
Our cancellation policy:
50% of deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made 14 days or more before arrival date.
20% of deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made 7-14 days before arrival date.
No refund if cancellation is made 6 days or less before arrival date.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (EUR) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
