6 Bedrooms, 4 1/2 Baths, Sleeps 12 adults

This magnificent mountain top log home is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains. The house is sitting on 11 acres, 4 of which are landscaped. The three story lodge is approx. 8,000 square feet with porches and decks. On the lower floor there are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and a childs bed, each with a private bath. A game room with a gas fire place and a billiard table. And the laundry room. On the main floor is the Master bedroom & bath, kitchen, dining room, sitting room with 20' high vaulted ceiling and a 1/2 bath. Going upstairs to the loft is 2 more bedrooms with a queen bed. There is a 3rd bedroom for children with a trundle bed and a crib. There is a full bathroom with tub shower. Lastly is another sitting room with banister overlooking the main floors sitting room. You can enjoy the beauty of this property, with its quiet serene surrounding of the neighboring mountain tops.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. It has everything you could possibly need and more. The property itself was outstanding. The view(s)were unbelievable and the location fit our needs. We look forward to being able to have a chance to come back again as we just loved this place! My boys could roam around and act like boys! It was great and we are thankful the owners shared their home with us.

My husband and I wanted our two small children to see snow so we planned a family Christmas trip to the mountains which included my parents, his mother, uncle, sister and her boyfriend. We found a cabin (Candy Mountain Lodge) online and booked it immediately. This cabin was absolutely breathtaking and the pictures online do not do it justice. This cabin is a must see!!!! This cabin has everything you need and more, especially if you have small children!! The owner and care taker are very attentive!!!! Well we got our snow wish and more!! We had an amazing Christmas and we will definitely be back to stay!!!!

Still thinking about our Spring Break 2010 stay. Man we enjoyed this place. A must see and to do when you go is: Field of the Woods, Murphy Chophouse, and the Old General Store. Got to go out early, because everything seems to close early-early down town. the Gen Store reminded me of the tv show Happy Days with all of the Hot Rods lined up in front on a Friday. A day trip to nearby cities isnt bad (ie..Franklin etc). A lot of small town things to do. There is a walmart, LOL!

The pictures dont do this place justice. Next time we will stay longer - The property was perfectly maintained - The owner was absolutely amazing and we were fortunate to spend time with Wayne. My boys enjoyed the time they spent with him building fires, logging and just keeping busy. When leaving my youngest said "I am gonna miss this place." The oldest said "I would come back here."

More importantly i would go back:)
