Cozy studio, great location, helpful owner!

I stayed in a nearly identical apartment located just below the property shown (that balcony was my porch roof), so, while I don't know the specific unit, I do know the layout, the location, and the people you'll be dealing with.

This is a very nice part of town-I stayed for six weeks, and almost never had to use my car...Gym, small organic grocery, nice restaurants, park to walk my dog...all of this was within 5-15 minutes' walk of my front door. The place felt safe, it was tastefully decorated, and the owner was always available to help but never bothered me.

My only reservation about writing this review is that I'll want to stay there the next time I come to Austin and I hope you're not in it then.

Studio is perfect size for a couple. The studio is entirely upstairs and the outdoor courtyard is shared with anyone else who is renting a house on the lot. We never had an opportunity in the courtyard because there was always a large group partying in it. The noise from the group kept us up each night; the studio is not well noise insulated. The owners left us half a roll of toliet paper and we had to buy our own after that. The neighborhood is nice with a great park one block away. We had a great experience, minus the toliet paper, but I would not stay here during a big festival in austin if you are looking for quiet or private.
