Escape to the Gore Mountain Region. Our wintertime activities include skiing, sledding, tubing, ice skating and snowshoeing; our summertime fun includes scenic gondola and train rides, a farmers market, whitewater rafting, fishing, swimming and relaxing by the many lakes this region has to offer.

The Carriage House at Gore is an attached dwelling situated on 8 acres of wooded property overlooking a private lake. A deck attached to the Carriage House offers a great view of our private lake, and views from the bedrooms are of Gore Mountain. We are 15 minutes from North Creek and Chestertown, with skiing, dining, shopping, swimming and other attractions; 30 minutes from Lake George - with dining, mini-golf, bowling, shopping, cruises, boating & large beach; 45 minutes from Glens Falls with a mall, restaurants & a thriving downtown; 45 minutes from Newcomb with a Visitor's Interpretive Center, hiking & swimming, and 60 minutes from Saratoga Springs, home of Saratoga Race Course.

Relaxing & Quiet: The owner's house is attached to the Carriage House so that every need may be attended to. To ensure our guest's privacy, there is a completely separate entrance and deck to the Carriage House. It is the perfect place to kick back and relax with family.

The Personal Touch: We treat our guests like family, providing special touches like a bottle of wine and box of truffles.

We ask for a refundable $150 security deposit to hold the reservation; along with the first night's rental fee. Balance is due two weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit will be returned once the home has been inspected for damage and for evidence of pets or smoking.
Full refunds will be honored 4 weeks prior to the reservation. Between 2-4 weeks prior to reservation - only the security deposit will be refunded. We cannot honor refunds within the 2 week period. We will gladly change your reservation so long as it is available.
