While that may not sound unusual, it is VERY UNIQUE in Costa Rica, as most villas just have air-conditioning in the bedrooms and NOT in the living room, dining room and kitchen areas (just ask!). You keep very cool and comfortable in the TROPICAL HEAT inside Casa Las Ventanas or throw open the sliding glass walls and enjoy nature!

Since Hotel Makanda caters to adults, children under 14 years old are not allowed in the Sunspot Grill or resort pool, however the villa has its own private pool.
