I'm so happy that we had the privelage of staying in Case Dei. I went there with my boyfriend this past Christmas, stayed for 7 days and we had the most amazing time. I loved the unexpected, bright and modern bathroom and how charming the upstairs is. We enjoyed the roaring fire and cozy livingroom (which has cable and dvd that work!) ( and the wifi works perfectly in this house as well) and the outside courtyard area is lovely, even though it was a bit too cold to take advantage of in winter. Steven stopped by the morning after we arrived, exactly when he said he would, to make sure we had everything we needed and made himself available to us if we needed anything. He was so pleasant and nice. This house could not be any better located, it's like a 3 minute walk from the train station, close to grocery stores and shops and everything you'd want to see in Brugges is literally just around the corner from Casa Dei. The kitchen definitly has a mid evil feel ( like the rest of the house), but it has all the amenities that you need to cook with, we cooked every night we were there and saved so much money. I had a wonderful experience at Casa Dei and I was sad to leave, I hope I'm lucky enough to stay there again one day....Steven, thank you so much for sending me the Christmas present that I forgot at Casa Dei, that's so kind of you to ship all the way to America! I never leave reviews, but I just wanted reassure anyone that is thinking about renting this property, that you'll be so delighted if you stay here.
Owner's Response: Thank you Jessie, that's the kind of review that opens the heart of the owner. After all , even if I earn a nice "euro" by renting Casa dei , I want to have the feeling that people get quality for their money. By reading the last reviews , I feel comfortable about that. This is not a vacation rental like 12 in a dozen, but a typical medieval house in the centre of Bruges, with all modern facilities. I wonder if you were looking for something like this? Steven
