Casa Deus ist in der Tat ein romantisches Häuschen in schöner Lage.
Der in der Beschreibung erweckte Eindruck eines renovierten und modern eingerichteten Hauses ist irreführend: die -wann auch immer- durchgeführte Renovierung ist abgewohnt, Wand-, Decken- und Bodenanstriche schmuddelig und abblätternd, die Elektroinstallation laienhaft und gefährlich.
Die Küchen- Einrichtung entspricht nicht (mehr?) den Fotos. Die Bildausschnitte der Fotos geben nicht den allgemeinzustand wieder.
Wir wundern uns über positive Kommentare: sicher, das Häuschen ist individuell und mag Gäste aus Neubauwohnungen ansprechen, allein die Darstellung sollte weitestgehend objektiv den Zustand wiedergeben, nur so bleibt das Buchen im Internet seriös und wird nicht zum Glücksspiel, wir haben in der Vergangenheit nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht.
So wie wir das Objekt angetroffen haben ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht akzeptabel.

This house has been built in the middle ages.
It is important to keep the soul of an old house, because that fits perfect with the stay in an medieval town like Bruges.
2.Renovierung
I cannot confirm the house would need complete repainting because of blistering off.
The electric installation may be 'oldfashioned', that does'nt mean it is dangerous !
Renovation is always a balance between keeping what is old , and renewing what needs to be renewed. Every person has his own opinion, budget and preferences about these kind of things

3.Fotos
Allthough there might be some other look on the photo's of the kitchen, there is no essential difference. But it is true that the photo's are too much emphasizing the details, and I plan to work on that !

It is true that the guestbook is full of positive comments. So I thank the writer of this comment that he confirms that most of the guest are really positively surprised about the authentic atmosphere of the medieval house Casa Deus. It is only when you do not find what you expected, that you begin to look for details to confirm your opinion, and of course, you will always find things that confirm your opinion, that's how this world works!
5.Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
The price is comparable to other vacation rentals in Bruges. If you are looking for something special , and you get it for the same price as a common vacation rental , I think you make a good deal !
