This inviting lakefront home is perfect for families. The large, private, fenced in yard keeps toddlers from going to the lake. The porch swing on the deck is a great place to watch awesome sunsets.
The house has spacious rooms and comfortable furniture. The great room has a fireplace and built in bookshelves that are full of books, videos, DVD’s and games. Cable TV and wireless internet are available too. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils and small appliances, but no dishwasher. The table in the dining area off the great room seats 10. Sunny breakfasts are delightful on the cozy, knotty pine porch.
The upstairs has 3 bedrooms with views of the lake; one has 2 antique twins; another has a queen and 2 twins. The third is a small bedroom with a twin bed. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and is near the bathroom. The Bunkhouse has been remodeled and is now available as extra sleeping space. It has it’s own powder room and a set of bunk beds, but is not winterized.
The new stairs to the lake are lit with solar lamps. Our 100 feet of waterfront includes a deck, a 50 ft long L shaped dock, and a swimming beach. You can use the canoe and swim to the raft (note - raft available between Memorial Day and Labor Day). The lake is about 5 ft. deep at the raft. Seneca Lake has excellent fishing and boating, with marina’s nearby to rent all types of boats. Cookout on the gas grill and roast marshmallows on the outdoor brick fireplace. There is parking for 3 cars.

Chuck spent every summer on Seneca Lake as a child and we have emotional ties to this property. Our family loves to gather here, play in the water, and make memories. We enjoy the peace and beauty of the lake and surrounding vineyards.
Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, we are surrounded by wonderful wineries, open all year round. We are less than an hour to Watkins Glen for hiking the gorge and for racecar enthusiasts. Canandaigua and Ithaca offer artsy shopping and theater. Other attractions are the Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, the National Women’s Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, and the Waterloo Outlet Mall. In the winter, it is a short drive to Bristol Mt. for skiing, or to Rochester or Syracuse.
