Treasure Point has a main house and carriage house. Both the main house and the carriage house face the water and feature gorgeous views from every room.
The main house is furnished with a welcoming combination of comfortable furniture and farmhouse antiques. New owners have refurnished but kept the large antique pieces that remind visitors they are in New England. An open living room, dining room and kitchen are drenched in natural light from a wall of windows, reaching the roof-line, and French doors opening onto the large water-side deck. The deck will be a major attraction of any visit, with comfortable outdoor seating and a dining area for 8.
The kitchen, modern with custom cabinets and a center island with stools for casual meals and comfortable conversation, is well-equipped with a gas cook-top, wall oven, microwave, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator. There is a dining area off the kitchen as well.
The living room features comfortable couches and chairs as well as satellite television and wireless Internet.
Internet service is provided by Hughes Net which is a satellite-based service. Internet service may be limited as to the amount of data that can be downloaded and will not be suitable for large downloads such as movies. This service is best suited for web browsing and checking email.
Off the living room, you will find the master suite with its own private entrance to the front deck. The master has a king bed and an en suite half bath.
Above the living room is a large loft area with sleeping for 4 in two twins and one double bed. The large loft overlooks the living room area, sharing the spectacular light and views. With beds comfortable enough for adults, the loft is also a haven for kids, with lots of books and toys. Off the loft is a full bathroom and a laundry room.
The owners collect books, music, art and glasswork, and have brought to this special place a few choice selections that seemed to belong here. Time spent at home here will be as special and memorable as your time in the beautiful Maine outdoors.
The carriage house is its own little living area with a full bath. Fashioned the same way as the house, the post and beam construction creates a gorgeous little sanctuary. The carriage house is a perfect refuge for teenagers or family members who want some quiet space, a work place, or privacy.
In 2012, the carriage house was completed. This gorgeous building, steps away from the main house, offers a screen porch with vaulted ceilings, a large multifunction room/den with a gas fireplace, seating for 8 plus, television with cable. And as always, additional quarters above with a full bathroom and a living area above with a queen bed, a efficiency kitchen and private living area with gorgeous views.
