Our family had a wonderful stay in this very pleasant cottage. There was plenty of room, the bedrooms and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, cookery, and dishes, and the lake was beautiful and quiet. The showers had plenty of hot water, with good water pressure. Booking, check-in, and check-out were easy and hassle-free. We were right down the road from a cozy little bar-restaurant on Pelican Lake and enjoyed an awesome Friday night fish fry there. We used both the row boat and the canoe to explore and fish, and then we enjoyed the fire pit at night. My only criticisms would be that the rowboat really needs better oars, and I would also strongly recommend a good strong mosquito repellent! Otherwise, it's a great place for a family reunion and for peaceful relaxation. I would definitely recommend this property to others.
Me and my family stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. There were 8 of us and there was more then enough space for 10. It is very private and we hope to be back next year! Antigo is the closest town to go to at about 25 min away and they have anything you would ever need on vacation.
We fished, took the boat out, had camp fires probably about 4 nights we were there and just soaked in lakefront living for a week. Very relaxing and I would definitely recommend staying here!
My family of five stayed on Post Lake for a week. The house easily accommodated us with room to spare. The kitchen is fully equipped with a nicely sized kitchen table. We really enjoyed making a fire each night in the fire pit by the lake. The pontoon boat made it easy for us to all fish together - though fish were a little sparse during our stay, we did catch enough for one dinner.
I definitely recommend a stay.
Cottage/Lake home is on Enterprise Lake. Incredible fishing. Many surrounding lakes in the area. Check out festivals in Rhinelander (Hodag) and Antigo. Bass Lake Country Club golfing. Horseback riding, and downhill skiing 15 minutes away. Cross country skiing, snowmobiling, Biking and four-wheeling trails on sight. Old country grocery store and bowling alley 10 minutes away. Many outstanding restaurants in the area.
Golf: Golf at the great Bass Lake Country Club. Only minutes away. Great dining also.
Ski: Ski Brule is 45 minutes away. There is also a ski hill in Rhinelander that is 20 minutes away.
