Stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom contemporary ski house located in the Sugarbush area is available for short-term and long term winter rentals. It comfortably sleeps 6, includes pretty much everything you'll ever need, and does so with style. Located 1 mile from Mount Ellen, 3 miles from Lincoln Peak and 5 miles from Mad River Glen. In a tree-canopied development on German Flats Road, this home is far from typical. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops with ceramic tile floor. The dining table and leather chairs seat 6. It has 2 bathrooms which 1 features a Jacuzzi-spa tub and Italian marble, radiant heat tile flooring in lower walkout level.

The living room invites entertaining, as well as quiet evenings beside the fire, snuggled down in the generous leather couches. Keeping the warmth in are custom-made solar thermal window treatments, new windows and carpeting in all the bedrooms and living room and radiant heated tile floors in lower bathroom and hallway. A large size mud room to store your skiis and snow boards, the hallway closet is spacious for your winter jackets, shoes, boots and ski/snow boots. Pets considered.

Great location with only one mile to travel to the mountain base. a group of six will feel right at home. Amazing view from the hot tub, good sized kitchen to cook a big meal, and plenty of room to spread out.

Snowboarding over New Year's Weekend

A most excellent winter getaway!
Five of us enjoyed four nights in this comfortable, well-outfitted house. It is ideal for a winter holiday; we were snowboarding at nearby Sugarbush.

The owners were a pleasure to deal with initially and when we arrived we were very happy with our choice. The bedrooms are comfortable, the common area very warm and comfy - ideal for a group our size, the house has everything you need and lastly the hot tub was an absolute treat after a day on the slopes.

The location is ideal - very close to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen and the nice town of Waitsfield.

My husband and I went to Vermont for a long weekend in August and enjoyed this house, and our getaway so much, we went back in October for a longer weekend. The house is comfy-cozy and neat as a pin. I rent my own house on Homeaway, so I really appreciated the attention to cleanliness and how the owners kept the house in such immaculate condition. The bedrooms were well outfitted with layers of comfortable linens and blankets and the living area was a great spot to relax in a huge sectional with a large screen TV. There were awesome views of the ski mountain (just up the road) from the panoramic windows in the living room and the expansive deck just outside the sliding doors. We especially enjoyed barbecuing each night on the tremendous stone patio off the lower level and hanging out by the patio fire place after dinner. Each evening had a romantic finish with wine in the hot tub. Really loved it. Wished we were skiiers because it was so well located to everything!
