Welcome to the Ritz! This property has it all, gorgeous bay views plus every designer detail imaginable, plus six flat screen TV’s. The 180 degree panoramic bay view includes dancing Dolphins and a small white sandy beach where you can launch your kayak, paddleboard or do some fishing. At night, the water view changes to a light show with the lights of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge illuminating the sky. Unlike the Gulf beach at night where you stare in to darkness and during the day your tranquility is upset by hundreds of noisy visitors.
The living area is a delight, furnished in tropical Tommy Bahama style with a comfortable settee for watching the water or the 46” flat screen TV. Persian carpets cover the travertine marble flooring. The Ethan Allen dining table is placed in a perfect spot to watch the Dolphins dancing in the bay while enjoying a meal of fresh fish you caught earlier in the day. If you care to entertain, there is a granite topped Island with, wine rack, wine cooler and comfortable leather stools plus a mirrored backed bar. And to make your experience even better, you have delightful friendly neighbors who you will want to entertain. The building contains only 6 units, all of the other units are owner occupied and all of the owners, have my 5 star seal of approval. You will love them and make immediate lifelong friends.
The new designer kitchen has marble floors, a marble sink, a marble mosaic, granite countertops, a flat screen TV and all of the appliances are AAA and covered in cabinetry to match the designer cabinets.
There is a lovely view of the bay through the French doors in the master bedroom, the crown molding and wainscoting, highlight the wood floors, Persian carpet and alabaster lamps. The Tempur-Pedic mattress offers a good night sleep or a perfect place to view the 32” flat screen TV. The master bath has the feel of a mini spa. double cut glass pocket doors open to expose walls flanked with white marble and the marble topped vanity has double vessel sinks with Swarovski crystal faucets. A hairdryer and lighted make-up mirror are mounted to the wall along with a flat screen TV that can be viewed from the 20” soaker tub or the 8” rain shower. There is also a beautiful guest room with a queen bed, wainscoting and French doors opening on to the porch. The guest bath is done in travertine marble and has the designer faucet coming out of the wall mirror into the stone vessel sink. You can watch TV while you shower in the glass shower enclosure including a rain shower.
The location on the map is deceiving because many condo buildings in this complex have the same Street address. My condo is waterfront on the first Street as you enter the complex. It is just steps to the private tennis court and the pool and hot tub. A picture is worth a thousand words, I refer you to mine. Not only is the water view breath taking but but it is enhanced by acres of green grass and open space. This 23 acre water front complex, surrounds you with plenty of blue water and green grasses. It is very private but within walking distance to gulf beaches, restaurants, bars, shopping, marina, gym, beauty salon, Post Office, Library and free trolley. There are also companies near by who will deliver Kayaks, paddle boards bikes and boats right to your back yard, where you can launch them from your private beach.
If you like to walk or bike, you are in paradise. The library is 2 blocks away, the park where they hold a lot of the festivals is 1 block away and 10 restaurants: Island Gourmet, Duffy's Tavern, Hurricane Hanks, Lobstahs, Eat Here, Tortilla Bay, The Feast, Island Coffee House, Beach Bistro, Domino's Pizza and Jesse's Island Store, are from 2 to 6 blocks away. Also, in that same area there are 2 gyms, many shops, the Chamber of Commerce, a marina and bait shop, bike, kayak, scooter, boat and SUP rentals, gas station, hardware store, beauty salon, liquor store and convenience store. The grocery store is 1 1/2 miles away.
For more excitement, you can reach St Armand's Circle and Sarasota in 30 minutes for elegant shopping, dining, live concerts, theater, ballet and the height of art and culture. The Tampa airport can be reached in an hour and Disney Orlando in 2 1/2 hours. Yet, once on Anna Maria Island you are light years away from the hustle and bustle of big city life and free to wonder the tranquil and serene white sand beaches inhabited by hundreds of tropical and exotic birds. This is life the way it should be.
The location is very quiet and private and a 3 block walk from the town of Holmes Beach with a dozen restaurants, shops, fitness centers, a marina, hardware store, bike, boat, kayak and scooter rentals. Manatee County Golf Course is 9 miles away. Gulf beach access is right behind Holmes Beach. Anna Maria Island offers 7 miles of serene white beaches while 30 minutes from Sarasota's art and culture and 2 1/2 hours from Disney. Fly in to Sarasota (30 min.), Tampa (1 hour) or Orlando (2 1/2 hours).
This is my primary residence and I rent it out while staying in my vacation home. The maximum occupancy is 4 adults, people throwing loud parties will be reported and evicted.
Sorry, the condo association only allows rentals of a month or more and I need the last day of the month to clean, no pets, no trucks allowed to park on the property overnight, no children and no smoking. It is on the 2nd floor, end unit with plenty of windows and light, no one above you, but no elevator.
I love to sail, Stand-Up-Paddle-Board, kayak, bike and walk the beach while on Anna Maria Island. In the winter I like to downhill ski, cross-country ski, snow shoe and sit by the fire.
I bought this property because of the location, it is a short walk to the Gulf beach but allows me complete surrenity and privacy. I spend a lot of time on the water and if you look on the map, there are a lot of options for water travel from here. I have direct access and a direct view of Tampa Bay but directly infront of the condo the waters are always calm and on a windy day, I can still paddle boart under the Key Royal bridge and through Bimini Bay to the Galati Marina, if I am on my kayak, I can go out the cut and paddle around to 'The Rod and Reel' for lunch and after lunch, paddle out to the Gulf. On a windy day, I put a sail on my Kayak and can sail to Robinsons Preserve or to Eggmont Key. I can also ride my bike to Robinsons Preserve or even down Longboat Key to Sarasota. The tennis courts are out the front door as is the pool and the hot tub feels great after a long peddle to Sarasota and back.

We stayed at Jean's condo for 4 months and loved every minute! The condo is spacious, luxurious and very well appointed. Amenities abound. The grounds and landscaping are very well kept. The view from the condo is gorgeous as well as being very peaceful. You can watch dolphins playing in the bay and birds like the great blue heron, osprey, pelicans, white ibis, snowy egret visit the grounds daily. There is a great area to launch a kayak or paddle board right outside the condo. The heated pool and hot tub is a great place to meet the neighbors. All of the people we have met here have been very friendly.
The condo is centrally located on the island; very close to the main hub of Holmes Beach. You can walk to restaurants, pubs, shops marinas and the beach. The white sand gulf beach is amazing; you can walk the beach for miles! There is also a free trolley that will take you the length of the island. And best of all, the sunsets here are breathtaking; the most beautiful I have ever seen!
We felt our stay in Jean's condo exceeded all expectations! The following reasons made this a wonderful rental:
1) Grounds and condo were immaculate.
2) Any questions were addressed immediately.
3) Everything in condo was first class!
4) List of restaurants was appreciated--loved The Sandbar!
5) Everyone in complex were helpful and friendly.
6) The view was magnificient!

We have just returned to the UK, having spent a month in Jean's Condo. It was by far, the best holiday unit we have ever rented. The layout is excellent, furnishings luxurious and the views of the bay from the unit are simply stunning. There was nothing we required that Jean had not thought of.
The amenities and grounds are immaculately maintained and very private and the swimming pool, hot tub and tennis courts just a steps away from the Condo. The local residents are very friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure to meet them. You can walk to the beautiful white sand beach from the Condo and we did this daily.
Good local restaurants and we liked The Waterfront, Sandbar, Eat Here and Beach Bistro. Ginny's & Jane E's is a good place for coffee, smoothies and pastries.
We had a car for the month and found good theatres and museums in Sarasota. St. Armands Key, Nr. Sarasota, had classy shopping and good restaurants and is a beautiful drive along the Gulf of Mexico Drive coast road from Holmes Beach.
My wife and I spent 2 glorious months there (Feb and Mar 2010) WOW what a place. The pictures don't even come close to showing what a first class home this property is. Jean the owner went far and beyond what any owner has ever done for us (and we've rented many properties) in making sure our holiday was perfect. The unit was very private, the furnishing were first class throughout, and the views of the bay were unblievable. My wife and I walked the short distance to the beach every day, and were impressed with the fact that Holmes Beach has no high rises to block the sun as many other beaches have. Jean provided a bike that my wife rode all over the island to explore many of the other beaches and shopping. If you want a great experience, in a world class condo, in a safe, family friendly town, this is for you.
