The Great Bear Lodge is a custom timber frame home located directly off the Killington access road with views of the Killington ski area. The home has five bedrooms and five and a half baths that provides a luxurious mountain retreat for family and friends. Offering privacy and every modern convenience, this remarkable vacation home is truly a rare find.

Come enjoy the chefs kitchen that includes a 48' Red Viking Range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Sub-Zero wine cooler, Marvel beverage cooler, Fisher-Paykel dual bin dishwasher, Keurig coffee system, custom cabinetry with soapstone counter tops, and a full line of industrial cookware. The home also has a sheltered, outdoor hot tub which overlooks the Killington mountain. The home has ample storage for all your winter gear in a dedicated ski / snowboard room.

Remarkable Home- Perfect for Entertaining

For the past 10 years, my friends and I have gone skiing, at least, annually in Vermont. For the first 8 years we made it a point to seek out new lodging for each trip. That is until we found the Great Bear Lodge. Since we started renting this home two years ago there has not been 1 person who has not been taken aback by how beautiful it is. It is unequivocally the nicest house I have ever rented and perfect for entertaining.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Amazing Weekend

All I can say is wow! Myself and a large group of friends stayed at this house over the winter and it was an amazing weekend. It snowed pretty much every day we were there and everything was up to par. The driveway was clean. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. The house is absolutely gorgeous. There was plenty of room for people to sleep. Cooking in the kitchen was a breeze and the house offered plenty of amenities. I can not wait til next year to go up again.

Fantastic ski-weekend getaway

this house exceeding any and all expectations. Unbelievable great room, accomodated a large group of 17 and made for an excellent ski weekend away with friends. The home is two minutes from the access road making it easy to get to all nightlife, restaurants, shops and ski areas. The owner was readily avialable and made sure the house was in pristine condition when we arrived. Will definitely be making this a regular weekend away, highly recommended!

Beautiful House, Loved Everything!!

This house was perfect for my family get-away. We had 12 people, 11 adults and 1 child. The enormous great room and open kitchen and dining area was perfect for us all to be able to stay together, whether cooking, sitting by the fire or even out on the large porch. The location is right off the access road and seconds from everything; the mountain, dining, nightlife. We will definitely be back next year!
