Sleeps 10, 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, private basketball court and zip line for kids!

This gorgeous sprawling home on 3 acres is surrounded by 50 acres of conservation land. It is extremely private, very quiet, has its own pond, and plenty of space for sunbathing and outside play, large, expansive decks, lots of room for entertainment inside. It is completely equipped with big TVs and electronics, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the mattresses are brand new. Secure wifi, phone and computer jacks in every room. This is the perfect place for that Cape Cod summer holiday, a wedding weekend in the spring or fall, for special extended family get-togethers over a long weekend, at Thanksgiving, or Christmas or New Year's. Call us!

Note that we do not host weddings or large gatherings on-site.

What's nearby: The house is located in south Chatham and is a three minute drive (just down the road) to Cockle Cove beach. As you drive towards main street in downtown Chatham (ten minutes), you will pass Ridgevale and then Harding's beaches. We are three minutes from the Super Stop and Shop and the liquor store, as well as several restaurants and take-outs. It is ten minutes from the Captains golf course, ten minutes from the Chatham golf and 5 minutes from Cape Cod National Golf Club (if you are lucky enough to be a member!).

About Jaime

The owners are two parents with five kids; they love the Cape and have been coming here for 35 summers since they were teenagers. They like the family traditions, the fun and excitement on the cape in the summer, the energy people bring when they are here for a week or two and they set out to make the most of every minute!

This is the second property the owners have owned and rented, and this one is simply fantastic. They like beautiful surroundings with room to host lots of family and of being able to serve big meals without a lot of bother. With this house, they've tried to provide everything that in their experience, people look for when they rent a nice house for their own cape cod holiday. Nearest Restaurant : The 400; Corner Kitchen is just around the corner. at 1 Miles

Cape Cod National golf is close by, as is the Captains (36) and Cranberry Valley. Super Stop and Shop is very convenient as are a number of brand stores (Talbots, Orvis etc). If you click on the satellite view, our house is the big one below the marker on the map , and you will see the pond, the house and the decks.

  • The two outdoor hot and cold running showers, one at each end of the house, are perfect to get the sand off after a day at the beach.

  • The master bedroom (king) sits at one end of the main floor and can be entered from the deck and from the living room. It is extremely private and has a 6 piece ensuite and plenty of closets. The 2nd master (king) is on the second floor at the other end of the house, with full ensuite, has its own entrance from the ground floor and lots of closets. The other two second floor bedrooms (twins) share a full bath, overlook the pond and backyards, and also have much closet space. There is a connecting door from one of them to the second floor master which is convenient with little children. The bedroom on the ground floor (twins) has windows overlooking the back gardens. The bedroom is off the downstairs family room (which has a gas fireplace and a big tv). The family room also has a wall of windows and includes a patio door as part of the walk-out to the backyard and outdoor shower (hot and cold). Secure wifi, phone and computer jacks in every room in the house.

Notes: There's a private basketball court (basketballs in the garage) and a ping-pong table. The backyard has a zip line which kids love using by the hour! Bring your kayak or canoe or use those on the property. The house is centrally air conditioned with cable outlets in every room, and it has a main floor laundry room.The main floor is accessible, large doorways, big rooms, few steps and many bathrooms. The house sits on 3 acres and is surrounded by 50 acres of conservation land so you will not have any neighbors. It is very quiet, very private and is just the perfect place for a family vacation, a couples get-away, a retreat, extended family holidays over long weekends, or for those Cape Cod wedding weekends spring and fall. The pond is fresh water. There are also numerous trails from the house including Goose Pond which is close-by and swimable and to other places as well. The trails are great for walking or daily runs. Secure wifi, phone and computer jacks in every room.

Our family had a great time in this lovely Chatham home. The owners provide for all you need with special touches like the firepit and basketball courts. Its located close to the beaches and downtown. There is a lot of space inside and out!

I highly recommend this fabulous vacation rental. The house and property are immaculate, very well maintained and equipped with all of your needs (with special touches such as the firepit, ping pong table and basketball court). There is a lot of space for gatherings inside and out! The location is 5 minutes away from the beaches, bike paths, and downtown Chatham. The owners provide excellent customer service and answered all of my questions before our arrival.

We just returned from this beautiful house. The pictures that are displayed does not do the house justice. The furniture, sheets, linens, etc. are all new. The house has ever possible thing you can desire. It is a couple miles from the beaches and restaurants. Grocery stores are close and are not hard to locate. We totally enjoyed our vacation and the owners are just wonderful.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
