Beautifully appointed and comfortable, the apartment opens into your own patio leading to a shared, verdant garden oasis. Completely furnished with linens, blankets, towels, and kitchenware, the flat has a comfortable living/dining room simply decorated in a modern, relaxed style including original artwork. PLEASE NOTE: there is NO TELEVISION in the unit, but with wireless access, movies and TV can be accessed through your laptop, if desired.
The fully equipped kitchen has new high-quality cookware, utensils and appliances, including an electric stove and oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, juicer and food processor. The intimate bedroom features a king-size bed with a new custom mattress and pure cotton linens. The bathroom has a shower over tub. Ideal as a hotel alternative for vacationing or business, the very convenient location is 1/2 block from 22nd Street's growing assortment of restaurants and coffee shops including Piccino and Serpentine, and just down the hill from Potrero Hill’s 18th Street shops and restaurants (including Turkish, Vietnamese, Sushi, French Bistro, Pizza & Mexican) plus a bakery, wine bar, groceries and laundry. We're located two blocks from the bay, where the Blue-Greenway bike route traces the water's edge 1/2 mile to the Embarcadero downtown, then out to Fisherman's Warf--and for ambitious riders, to Crissy Field Park which leads over the Golden Gate Bridge.
We are a 3 minute walk to the TK-3rd tram line 20th street stop to downtown, as well as the 22 bus line that travels up to the top of Potrero Hill and directly into the Mission, then to the Fillmore and the Marina. Downtown is 5 minutes by car via two nearby freeways (101 and 280). There is ample street parking after 5PM and daytime parking is rarely an issue. We are 12 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.

A native Californian and Jersey girl, we have lived in Dogpatch for a decade. We are actively involved in our community and love sharing it's charms with visitors, friends and family.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2001
Dogpatch, on the eastern edge of Potrero Hill, just south of the Giants Ballpark, is one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Francisco. Made of up charming Victorian cottages and historic warehouses, it is a hip multi-use area with a growing restaurant scene. Bustling by day and quiet at night and on weekends, the T-third tram to downtown is around the corner and the airport is a 12 minute, $30 cab ride away.
My husband and I stayed in this rental for two nights and enjoyed it very much. The owner was very helpful and clear about all instructions for getting/checking-in to the rental and checking-out (both online and in a binder within the home). The binder also includes recommendations for various things in the Dogpatch neighborhood. There are about 5-8 stairs or so to enter the home-FYI-no problem for us.We felt very safe as there was a locked security gait you must pass through prior to entering the home. The rental had plenty of linens and also shampoo, conditioner, and body wash if needed. The full kitchen was great when we stayed in and had dinner one of the nights. The bed was large and very comfortable with nice linens. There is plenty of room in the main living area for an air mattress if you happened to have kiddos or additional guests. There are a lot of books in the rental which was a nice change from the standard hotel TV.We were bummed about not having a TV at first, but realized we didn't need it since we were out and about so much! The location was great for our walk to Anchor Brewing and we rode the train several times into downtown for a Giants game and visiting Coit Tower. The train and bus have stops right around the corner (1/2 block at most). You must have cash for the train and there is an ATM in the cafe on the corner near the train stop :) There are several hidden gems within the Dogpatch neighborhood, but you must do a little searching to find them.We recommend the Dogpatch Saloon for a local-feel bar with good prices, Magnolia Brewing Co. is nice with good BBQ (but very expensive), Just For You Cafe (awesome and great prices!), and The New Spot for affordable burritos/Latin food-also a liquor store next door to Just For You Cafe is practically a mini grocery store for last minute purchases.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, felt safe, and were happy with the location being out of the hustle and bustle, but within and 15 minute train ride of all the typical SF stuff! We will recommend to family/friends :)
The apartment is neat, clean and within easy walking distance of where I needed to be. I felt very safe there, which is important for me. Nicely done!
This apartment was is a wonderful location. It was neat, clean, fully stocked with all the essentials. The hosts were available with answers to all questions and made sure we were comfortable. Great neighborhood! Easy access to all transportation.
My husband and I stayed at this attractive, comfortable garden flat for three nights while visiting family in the area. We enjoyed the quiet get away of this flat in the evenings. Some great walkable restaurants near by. Parking was fairly easy within the block. The wifi worked great, so no TV was needed. The comfy easy chairs, with good reading lamps, were well used and appreciated! We will be back...
Dogpatch! Keep it a secret, this area is a total winner. The flat was appointed so nice, great space, lovely 1 bedroom apt. with a lot of room. Full kitchen to take advantage of the great fresh foods you can find here, large living, dining & patio for your private use.
The flat was exactly as portreyed, and even better. Location for public transport was perfect & plenty of cool places to walk to right there.
I booked a weekend excursion with this property to come up and catch the SF Giants. Everything was easy. Great communication from the start with the owners, I needed to change the dates and that was easy as well.
The property is awesome. Great for 2 people, even 3 people. The property is on the ground floor of the 3 (?) story house. There is plenty of street parking, parking was never a hassle for me. The property is 2 blocks from the freeway. There are restaurants and mini marts and things to do without walking distance from the house. This property was also close to AT&T Park and East San Francisco.
I would definitely stay here again. As we were in and out within 3 days, we saw the owner briefly as we were coming back to the property. Everything was a breeze!
