When you call Hut Pointe Inn, you are speaking to the owner of the property, not an agent or property manager. We really want your experience on the island to be a good one and that includes speaking with you or emailing with you ourselves.

We offer a large (825 sf), clean, lovely, 2-bedroom suite in a historic stone building originally built for the first premier of the Bahamas, in 1944. The suite has two bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen, dining area and large bathroom. It is fully air conditioned and features a king-size bed in the master bedroom, two twin-size beds in the second bedroom, a fold-out sofa in the living room, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, gas stove and oven, pots/pans, dishes, utensils and coffee maker, balcony, free wireless internet access, satellite-fed television, DVD player and in room safe.

Hut Pointe Inn has been renovated in the past year and is an eco-friendly property. We are centrally located 6 minutes from Governor's Harbour town.

Hut Pointe Inn is located approximately 6 minutes south of the Governors Harbour Airport (GHB) and approximately 6 minutes north of the town of Governors Harbour. We are centrally located, right in the middle of the island, so we have a perfect location that is close to all of the places that you would like to explore. On Eleuthera, we have quaint towns, fabulous fishing, caves, ocean holes and a wide variety of different, unspoiled ecosystems to explore. From an ancient primordial sea to the uncrowded pink sand beaches, to our weekly 'Fish Fry', we have a unique and lovely island home and we look forward to sharing it with you!

Further details for this vacation condo rental in Governor's Harbour, Bahamas

We are located a few minutes away from many gorgeous beaches and offer a bit of an ocean view from our upstairs end suites. The island of Eleuthera is very long and narrow, about a mile wide in most spots, so our location is perfect for exploring the island and finding your perfect beach hangout. Hut Pointe Inn is the only eco-friendly hotel on the island of Eleuthera. All of our water comes from rainwater harvesting, we use passive solar for hot water, our utility room and owners home use solar and are 'off the grid'. In addition, we have a backup generator that powers the entire property in the event of an outage. Power is sometimes not reliable on the island and we do everything possible to reduce our use, while still maintaining high standards for comfort and convenience. We also have a large, organic garden on the property and our guests are encouraged to use the vegetables that are ready, free of charge. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products, low allergen linens, water saving toilets and shower heads and LED light bulbs. We feel that we don't have to skimp on comfort by being environmentally friendly and our suites are the largest, cleanest and best equipped rooms for the money on the island.

By far the nicest Inn on the island. central, easy access to the whole island, excellent amenities. Perhaps most impressive was the hospital cleanliness and generous size of the suites. I've traveled extensively and am sensitive to grubby and too small rooms. These folks have really done a great job bringing this classic property back to top shape. I should also mention the peace and quiet...i'm a light sleeper so this was a nice find. The beaches nearby were completely uncrowded and the water w

Located right along side of Queen's Highway north of Governor's Harbor. Highway noise when the occasional vehicle passes by. Nearest restaurant is the Bistro at Sky Beach Resort. No views of beach, but nice garden view. Caretaker, Kathy Davis, was very nice and always asking if anything needed.

Take plenty of cash! Gas, many restaurants, etc only accept cash.

Loved Hut Pointe

I stayed at Hut Point for 3 weeks and it was amazing! The rooms where big, the garden was beautiful, beaches and restaurant's were very close by. I loved that place!!! Great service as well! My room was always clean and people were so nice!
