Todi Apartment Rental Photos and Description
Apartment, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4)
La Gardenia is a traditional stone-built house, dating from the Middle Ages. It is located in the heart of Todi, voted the most livable town on earth and the setting for the classic 1965 film The Agony and the Ecstasy.
Situated on the upper 2 floors of the building, the apartment, which is recommended by Lonely Planet the Tuscany/Umbria edition, offers stunning views over rooftops, churches and town monuments. From the balcony, which is large enough for a small table and chairs, one can enjoy the clean air and the peacefulness of the surrounding hills. Furnishings range in style from the distinguished 19th-century tea room, to the early 20th-century, and are elegant and comfortable.
Floor Details: The first floor has a formal living-room with lovely 19th-century antiques, 2 bedrooms with 1 double and 1 single bed, connected by a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have fine views.
The second floor has a dining-room with table for six, leading onto a balcony, with beautiful views over the hills to the south and the Tempio della Consolazione church, fully equipped kitchen open to the dining-room on one side and a sitting-room on the other, sitting-room with sofabed, and a single bedroom with half bath.
