Beautiful Waialua Beachfront

We spent 16 nights in this house, and it was VERY difficult to leave. The house is very spacious and it was wonderful for my 3 kids to have their own space for the trip. The kitchen is beautiful and the entire house is well stocked- kitchen items, books, games, etc. Almost anything we could have wanted was provided. We arrived late at night, but first thing the next morning we were outside the gate and at the beach with everything we could have needed - chairs, towels, toys, boogie boards and more. My kids were excited to see the big tub of toys. The beach that is right outside was deserted most of the time, which we loved. It's not the best beach as there are rocks at the bottom and the water isn't clear and blue, but it was still where we spent most of our vacation. The kids played in the ocean, I read 4 books on the beach and we went for walks almost every night at sunset. We loved the North Shore area and only went south twice in the 16 days we were there. It's a totally different Hawaii than Waikiki...loved the slower pace and less crowds. The only thing that caused us some anxiety were the cockroaches...yuck! However, there weren't many and we wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again.
