Wonderful NYC appartment

During our visit last July to New York, as part of our tour of the States my family & I stayed in this wonderful appartment just north of Central Park. It was just what we were looking for and exactly as described on the website. Large enough for the 6 of us to stay at for 4 nights (3 separate bedrooms all with privacy), clean, well furnished, complete kitchen facilities, etc. The only small critisism I could think of was the lack of actual written information in the appartment itself. (e.g. telephone numbers in case of emergencies, who to get in touch with when anything went wrong, etc.) After receiving the key from the "cleaner / caretaker" we were completely "on our own" for 4 nights, and if anything had gone wrong we would have been at a complete loss as to who to contact. However when travelling from Europe (The Netherlands) to the a city like New York, and booking via the Internet, we also had a few reservations as to the neighbourhood, safety, etc. To be honest we had no problems at all with this lovely part of NYC, just 5 minutes from Central Park, a couple of "blocks" from the nearest subway station, supermarket close by, and friendly people everywhere. Far above our own expectations and exactly what we were looking for. If you are a family or group of 5 or 6 people needing a base to explore NYC, at a much cheaper rate than Manhattan hotels, we would strongly recommend this property.
