Lool Beh was Perfect

This property was the perfect choice for our first time on Isla Mujeres. Location was great with shops and an outdoor market nearby as well as the fisherman's co-op located across the main street where you can buy inexpensive, fresh seafood most days after 3pm. Take them up to the roof to cook on a charcoal grill. Property is well maintained and Sabina will do practically anything to make your stay the best it can be. Rent a golf cart for a couple days to get the lay of the land, then we downgraded to a moped but taxi's are plentiful and cost only $3 to get to centro. Sun up and sun down on the roof top patio are spectacular and its also perfect for sunbathing with a steady breeze to keep you cooled off. But if that's not enough, the plunge pool is super refreshing! The neighborhood is very safe and quaint in an old-Mexico type of setting. I'd definitely stay at Lool-Beh during our next visit; it's quiet and not as claustrophobic as centro. Be sure to hit the closest, nicest beach club - Zama - on the Sac Bajo Peninsula. Isla Mujeres is absolutely the best place to relax and shut down. I'll definitely be back!
