Beautiful New Condo in the middle of the Island!

We enjoyed our week's stay in Isla Mujeres at Lool Beh. The island is absolutely gorgeous, and we enjoyed truly authentic Mexican food.

The condo is mid-island (south of the airport), so you'll either need to rent a golf cart or scooter OR rely on taxis. You can negotiate taxi rides for 20 pesos to/from downtown with most cab drivers. We found that taxi drivers will try to charge you 40/45 pesos when you first arrive off the ferry, but start walking south and then you'll be able to get a ride for 20 or 25 with your luggage.

There is a supermarket in walking distance: Super Xpress. Turn left onto Calle Camaron. Once you get to the water, take the nicely paved walkway til you reach the Sports Complex. Walk around the Sports Complex and you'll see the supermarket to your left.

Beautiful view from the rooftop. By American standards, the surrounding area initially looks run-down upon arrival; however, we felt safe during our week stay. The condo is well-maintained and very nicely decorated inside. There is a safe in the room with a key provided. Hangers for your clothes would be a nice addition. There is limited dinnerware in case you plan to make many of your own meals. There is a nice combination washer/dryer so you don't have to bring as many outfits. A huge jug of purified water is provided with your rental; however, there is no dispenser, so you may want to bring several of your own water bottles so you can chill your water and always have some available.

Pablo and Sabina are incredibly responsive while you're onsite with any requests or questions. We would stay here again.
