Spectacular Terrace Overlooking the Duomo

This apartment is sensational. It really gives the lucky few who have opportunity to stay here an experience of a lifetime. The ambiance of having the Duomo within arms length is so unique. It becomes a part of you while you are in the apartment, and gives one's whole trip a specialness. The apartment is decorated and furnished in very high contemporary style, within the context of this incredibly old building of which so many unique features are still present. We really appreciated the lovely bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen with very fine cutlery, appliances , everything you need. The artwork is original, interesting, and adds to the uniqueness of the apartment. You genuinely feel a guest with the privilege of sharing someone's own home for a few days, which is so opposite so many apartment rentals where everything is stripped down for rental purposes. So if you are looking for a very special place- this is it.
Location is excellent. Instructions for using things as well as resources such as restaurants is so helpful. Luca, the manager is a real dear- very responsive, knows the city, and really explained everything to us upon our arrival, plus remained available by phone or email if we needed anything. One feels very safe in the building and apt. Steps are a hike, but well worth it to reach the apartment, and as one other reviewer commented - good exercise after our daily intake of of pasta, pizza, and gelato. What can I say? The food is so good that it takes away all the willpower.we have traveled a lot , stayed in a number of apartments and hotels --- this is the tops. Extra note: And if you are traveling with large family or multiple people, check out with owner, option to rent an adjoining 2 bedrm apartment. This would make a really fun place for gathering of family or good friends. We stayed in both and each apt has special features. Enjoy
