We are husband, wife and 2 boys. Bob is a Structural Engineer and Patty is a Physician Assistant. Cooper is 9 and is in 4th grade and Samuel is 1 and is a terror! We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we love being up at Kirkwood.
We love Kirkwood because there isn't a lot of 'fuss'. The mountain speaks for itself, you don't need also the fancy stuff to entice you to come.
Kirkwood has some of the best skiing in the Sierra's. The resort boasts the highest base elevation at 7800 feet, and challenging terrain, which ensures the best likelihood of snow in warmer storms. Kirkwood is also a great place for families, and is less geared towards partiers.
