There are few resort experiences as unique as Sundance and few places that you can spend a few days that are as idyllic as this setting at Sundance. The branches of old growth firs brush the cabin’s windows. A year-round stream runs along the walls providing ambiance and natural air conditioning. It gurgles under an eating/barbecuing deck leading to an 8 person hot-tub, tucked back in the pines. Two bedrooms have private decks overlooking the stream. The cabin is airy inside with walls of windows; you feel like you’re living in the trees. The whole house has radiant heating so even on the snowiest days you can be barefoot in the forest. Curl up in front of the fireplace and watch TV or listen to music on a state-of-the-art theater sound system. Cook a meal in a gourmet kitchen when you’re not in the mood to make the short walk through the woods to the great restaurants at Sundance.

The Unique Benefits of this House: Live music nights at Sundance's Owl Bar when the fire is blazing in the back room. Sunday Brunch at the Foundry Grill - particularly on patio days when the weather is fine. Sunrise bike rides on the mountain when you're likely to catch a moose or deer at every turn. Sunset hikes back from Stewart Falls - two miles away through a high mountain meadow. Summer movie nights at the outdoor theater. Heavy snowfall days when our road is impassable for a couple hours and the hot tub is cranking. Snowshoeing on full-moon nights when the Nordic center opens the trails at night.

Why the Owner Chose Sundance: Our family bought this home to be our home. We lived here for a magnificent decade. But when our family outgrew the house we reluctantly moved nearby and hope that vacationers will enjoy the house as much as we have.

Why David chose Sundance

Our family bought this home to be our home because at Sundance it is entirely possible to have an incredibly unique lifestyle experience - to be able to live in a quiet alpine resort (typically an oxymoron) and still have a vibrant professional job market within 15 minutes drive (Provo/Orem).

We lived here for a magnificent decade. But when our family outgrew the house we reluctantly moved nearby and hope that vacationers will enjoy the house as much as we have.

Prefect getaway

My Husband and I came to Utah for our daughters BYU graduation with two sets of grandparents in tow. It was a perfect getaway from the hectic campus during graduation. At night we would play games by the fireplace and visit all night. Our grad even came up to use the Jacuzzi with her friends. The perfect way to end each day. only 20 min from BYU. David was the perfect host.

Our family of five had the good fortune to stay six nights in this wonderful home, in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the indoors as much as we did the outdoors. We found it to be nicely cozy, with a well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect for those wanting to take advantage of everything the Sundance Resort offers. Most of all, the owners were very welcoming and great to work with...we'll be back.

Our hiking vacation

We loved this house. Five of us stayed here for about a week. We cooked every meal in except one, which saved us a lot of money and we had great food. The kitchen is easy to cook in and very well equipped. The stream will be sorely missed by all. The beds are quite comfortable. I highly recommend this home.

Lovely place for a Girls Weekend

This was a beautiful place to stay and fulfilled all of our expectations and more. The beds are extremely comfortable and the location is absolutely beautiful. The owners are extremely easy to work with and very accommodating when we had trouble with the sound on the tv as well as when I forgot something at the cabin and he mailed it to me.

My friends were very worried we would be bored at the cabin, but the time passed to quickly. Next year (yes, we want to come back to the same cabin again), we have decided to stay longer. We honestly had no complaints.

If you are looking for a nice, clean place to hang out and enjoy nature and the people who are with you, you can not go wrong renting this place. Enjoy! It is wonderful.

Springtime fun

We took a spring trip to Sundance last weekend for some relaxation. This cabin is beautiful inside. We had everything we could possibly need, and the windows everywhere had such amazing views. The creek that runs right outside was wonderful to listen to at night. We enjoyed the hot tub both nights we were there. The owner was very kind and made sure we had a good trip. Great experience.
