About Rachel Hatcher
Your hosts are Rachel Hatcher and Jake Thompson. Jake grew up in Balboa (The Canal Zone)Panama and spent summers in Sabula Iowa, then later lived in both North and South Florida before coming to Alaska. Jake has almost always been a carpenter, currently a certified General Contractor, specializing in building custom timber frame homes. Rachel grew up in Jupiter Florida, went to Florida Atlantic University, graduated with a bachelors of Finance, minor in accounting. worked in South Florida in public accounting for 5 years before coming to Alaska. We have lived in Alaska for 18 years and love the outdoors, together we have a vast knowledge of the area that we love to share.
