A perfect get-away for skiers, snowboarders and golfers...whether alone or with a group...you will enjoy the comfortable accommodations just minutes from the slopes and the courses. For the family, you can enjoy the water park as well as the legacy art trail all within walking distance. Nice house

We stayed here with another family on a ski weekend. Total of 4 adults and 5 kids, so the house was plenty large and having the hot tub in the basement was nice. Things that I wasn't crazy about: upstairs shower is sized for kids not full-grown adults; we ran short on toilet paper and paper towels and had to go out and buy some, kitchen could've been better appointed--needed large stock pot for pasta, no salt & pepper, there were no ziplocs or saran wrap for wrapping up sandwiches, etc. These are minor things, but for the $$ we spent, it should've been provided.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
Owner's Response: We are very aware and always concerned about the comfort of our guests. Regarding the upstairs shower, it is sized adequately for an average-sized adult. Also, we provide 3 additional rolls for each of the 3 bathrooms. This should be more than enough for a group of 12, especially for a weekend stay. Finally, basic spices and a stock pot large enough to cook spaghetti is provided, and the addition of food storage supplies has been made. Please be assured that any and all improvements that are suggested by renters are considered carefully and thoroughly. We reside minutes away from the rental site, and do our best to make ourselves available to address the renters' needs.

Independence Day Weekend Gathering

Our group had a great time in Crystal Mountain Resort. We had a large group who spread out and occupied every inch of the truly "cozy" cabin, yet, we had room to extend onto the large deck and to bike and walk around the resort and never felt like we were trampling on each other. We swam and played at Waters Edge and rode the Alpine slide. We spent a day kayaking and enjoying the Platt River and Lake MIchigan. Our drive to Traverse CIty for the fireworks was about 45 minutes. We ate in Frankfurt and just really enjoyed the area. We'd love to come back and have more time to explore further.
The cabin is clean and comfortable with all of the necessary supplies. The kitchen is well equipped. We grilled on the deck. The beds were comfortable. We had a couple of questions which were addressed immediately by the agent. Our deposit was quickly returned (within a week). We would definitely stay here again.
