Since 1998 we have offered vacation apartments on our small farm. Our barn is located 1km outside of Stefansdorf - a village at the foot of the famous Kronplatz skiing mountains. Our idyllic location is located on the edge of the forest and invites you to enjoy your vacation. Children have a lot of space to play around and a kiddies’ pool for hot days. You can observe nature and experience the work on the farm. We would love to 'help' you with feeding the cows and calves, rabbits, cats and the farm dog Rocky. There is fresh milk daily and fresh eggs, during the summer there are also fresh herbs from the garden and other vegetables. The baker brings by your ordered rolls early in the morning. Four mountain bikes and 2 city bikes for adults with 1 child seat (up to 22 kg) and a few small bikes for children and a table tennis table all are available. You can use the gas or coal grill for cozy hours.

The light, cozy apartment is on the 2nd floor, 65 m² large and is made up of 2 bedrooms with large wooden furniture and parquet flooring, living room with a sleeper sofa (for 1 or 2 people), dining table and sat-TV, kitchen with enough dishes, stove with 4 hot plates, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine and dish washer, 1 shower/toilet with a hair dryer. One bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed, the other one has a double bed and a single bed. The apartment has a balcony facing the east and South. Bed sheets, towels and dish rags are present and can be changed as needed.

Nearest Airport: Bozen at 100 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Bruneck at 4 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Brixen at 30 Kilometres
When you leave the highway to by Brixen and enter into Pustertal, you will reach the city of Bruneck after about 30 km. St. Lorenzen is about 2km away from Bruneck and has many villages and hamlets. One of them is Stefansdorf - 910 m above the sea and with 400 residents. You can reach Stefansdorf by leaving the main street (Exit Bruneck West) and then drive about 2 km towards Stefansdorf or Kronplatz. At the entrance to the city you will see a sign 'App. Mauerhof' on the left side of the street.

St. Lorenezn and the surroundings: Our location is an ideal starting point for excursions into the green valleys and nature parks, to romantic mountain lakes, castles and museums. St. Lorenzen is located in a large residential area - the junction of the Gadertal in the south makes for a 'small gate' into the Dolomites. An archaeological nature trail brings visitors to important historic ruins. For entertainment, there are summer festivals, concerts, Tirol nights, education mountain hikes or rides through the beautiful cross country skiing area during the winter. Try Southern Tirol and Italian cuisine in one of the many local restaurants. Those who like to swim can go to the Issinger pond (6 km) or to the public swimming pool (4 km) and the smaller guests can enjoy a kiddies’ pool (2x3 m); new opening of the indoor pool is at the end of 2005 (2 km). Do not miss a visit to the city in our picturesque, historic small city of Bruneck.

Ski: Kronplatz, 2275 m above sea level, is one of the most modern ski regions in Tirol. Winter sports enthusiasts will be pampered with 14 gondola cars, 5 seat cars, 3 chair lifts and 3 ski lifts. All together there is 50,000 m of well prepared slopes in all degrees of difficulty - all available for skiers and snow boarders. You can descend into the valley from three sides: from the northern side are the challenging descents to Reischach, to the East are the stunning wide slopes to Olang and in the West is the sunny decent towards St. Vigil. The Valley Station where you can reach lifts to Kronplatz is 1.5 km from our house. A toboggan run is located by our village. There are places for ice skating in Reischach and St. Lorenzen or the ice arena in Bruneck and cross country skiing in the sport zone of Reischach (2 km).
