You will love this self contained and private suite with over 800 square feet of space. You will have your own private entrance and your own outdoor space. The house is over one hundred years old but has been carefully renovated and updated recently.

There are maple floors and heritage details throughout with some antique furniture to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. There are two comfortable bedrooms and a pull out queen sized sofa in the living room. A well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and private laundry facilities give you the conveniences of home. We provide high quality linens and towels and new pillow top mattresses to ensure a good night's sleep. You will enjoy the cozy gas fire place and the heated floors in the washroom. The outdoor patio in our flower garden is a pleasant place to read or relax.

The location is quiet and yet convenient. In this central location you are minutes from all the wonderful attractions of Vancouver such as the seawall and downtown but in an artistic and vibrant neighborhood. Walks in the neighborhood include exploring Main Street and Cambie shops, the gardens and city views of Queen Elizabeth Park, Science World and the sea wall. There are over fifty restaurants and coffee shops minutes away. As well as pubs and night spots with live music. A wonderful home away from home.

We are also close to Children's Hospital, VGH and many other medical facilities for those who need to be in Vancouver for medical reasons.

We are delighted to welcome guests to our lovely home. We have completely renovated this 102 year old house, keeping lots of traditional details. We enjoy gardening, painting, cooking, golfing and traveling. We are in touch with the arts in Vancouver and really enjoy the wonderful and varied restaurants in our neighborhood. The Main street area is such a fun and central place to live.

Vancouver is an amazing city. A beautiful natural setting with many many recreation possibilities; golf, skiing, boating, hiking and beaches are all are close to the city and can be accessed in minutes. In addition, the city has many galleries, theatres and museums. The restaurants in Vancouver showcase food from around the world. Within blocks of our home there are at least 50 different restaurants with different foods from around the world. We chose to purchase this property as it is a lovely home on a quiet tree lined street with all of the amenities of Main Street a block away. We are close to transit and just minutes from downtown without all the traffic and noise. We have all the services we need so close that we don't need to drive very often. We knew these features would be important for our guests.

Our suite is comfortable and has many amenities that guests will enjoy and is located in a fantastic neighborhood. Staying in this location will allow guests to wander down Main Street and check out the shops, designers, sip a latte, and plan a wonderful evening meal. Guests can also pick up groceries at nearby shops and create a cozy meal back at home. This relaxing location allows visitors to experience the real Vancouver.

EXCEPTIONAL HOME AWAY FROM HOME

I would highly recommend this suite when visiting Vancouver. It is really spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and all the bedding was of very high quality. Plenty of extra blankets & pillows if needed. The heated bathroom floor was awesome. The hosts Dennis & Barb are very friendly and they were so accommodating with anything that you require. Being so close to Main St. Is also a BIG PLUS!!!!!! Lots of trendy stores, restaurants, coffee shops & bars. Would stay again on next visit to Vancouver.

After a long day of travelling we received a warm welcome on arrival. Barbara and Dennis are great hosts and we felt right at home. The place was even more spacious than the photos might suggest, and everything was clean, modern and bright. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living room area were nicely appointed as well. We were in town for a brief family visit and we would definitely stay again on future visits to the Vancouver area.

SPACIOUS AND MODERN

We enjoyed our 2+ week stay at this clean, spacious and modern garden suite. The kitchen is large with full size appliances and lots of counter space, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is sparkling with a heated floor and lots of towels. We especially enjoyed the gas fire place to ward off the Vancouver November chills. The suite is located near lots of restaurants and public transit, in a quiet neighbourhood. We appreciated that the hosts lent us several items to help make our family visit even better. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to provide more ovenware for people like us who like to prepare all our own meals. We would definitely stay again when back in this Vancouver area.

VERY COMFORTABLE AND CONVENIENT

My husband and I live in the Vancouver area, but had to move out for a week (with our cats) because of a minor house renovation. We choose this suite because of its location, space and value, and it was pet friendly. We got more than asked for! It's very comfortable, clean and close to the amenities on Main Street (interesting shops!), convenient to downtown and Burnaby. Barbara and Dennis are great to work with and very considerate.
