We set out to create a one-of-a-kind home and succeeded. The architecture is modern, yet warm, industrial, yet slightly Asian. It has many influences that are Pacific Northwest but it is worldly in its style. The home is spacious, nearly 3000 square feet and there is plenty of space to be together or have quiet to yourself. Two of the three bathrooms are very large, one with slate shower and jetted tub and a view of the bay. It is wired for music and Wi-Fi.
Not only is this home an amazing place to relax or entertain, but it has two full office spaces and is fantastic for working while you are here. It is set with cabinets, desks, great lighting and tons of space. The offices are located downstairs near the huge TV room but separate so you can have privacy and concentrate. It is close to shopping and downtown Seattle, and Bellevue. It's close to the airport. And it's close to hiking and biking, skiing and swimming. It is pretty perfect!
Whole Foods, restaurants, banks, parks, all you need within minutes drive.
Our home has a living room, dining room and a huge kickback TV room downstairs, with flat screen, couches, video game systems, and plenty of books to read.
You will love it so much, we hope you will want to come back soon!
Active family who love to travel and socialize. We love entertaining and our home reflects that in its layout, with lots of space for privacy too!
Owner/Manager purchased this house in 1990
This property is unique for its architectural design, interior design but also its size and closeness to downtown and many other points of interest. Yet, it is a neighborhood that is quaint, safe and lovely.
The home architecture has been profiled as a top winner for its design. We worked hard to create a unique, but very warm experience. We believe we hit it! You will love spending time here. The use of natural wood juxtaposed with other materials and the soaring two story ceiling are beautiful and impressive. All of the artwork in the home is original, painted by a beloved family member.
If you are traveling in a group, friends or family - this is an excellent alternative to a hotel. The kitchen, dining, living space and patio space are great for hanging out and enjoying a little happy hour while you prepare dinner in the well stocked kitchen! And great for breakfasts and coffee time! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and great location to experience Seattle and the Queen Ann community is lovely area of shops and restaurants as well. Owners were lovely to work with and easy to communicate with via email before and after our stay.
Our daughter graduated from Seattle University and my Southern California based multi-generational family included her graduation with a Pacific Northwest vacation. From toddlers to great-grandparents, words cannot express how much we all loved this beautiful home. You might think it would not live up to the website photos, but they do not actually show how gorgeous this house is. We hired a personal chef (www.junipfoods.com) to prepare our celebration luncheon after the commencement at Key Arena. The 'state of the art' kitchen was perfect for his preperation and presentation of our delicious meal using fresh, sustainable seafood of the region, complete with a gorg view of Elliot Bay! Both the owner and the house manager could not have been nicer and more accomodating. We took lots of pictures as this will go down as a very special time for our family. Thank you for sharing your home and encouraging us to 'eat, drink and be merry'. We did!
This house with amazing views was perfect for our family.
It was very clean and lots of room.
The kitchen was very well stocked...enough wine glasses for that great Washington wine!
We hope to return this fall.
This one of a kind home exceeded our expectations with its elegant modern style, accommodations that raise the bar on family- friendly luxury with lots of spacious areas to spread out or enjoy a quiet corner to relax and read and an entertainment room for some lively games or movies. The Master bedroom was a beautiful, unique and spacious room with its own private deck overlooking Elliott Bay. Our family enjoyed dining on the main deck overlooking the bay after preparing our food in the large chef's kitchen that is a cook's dream. This home is conveniently located in one of Seattle's finest neighborhoods just minutes from downtown Seattle. One special treat was how quiet it was for being so close to the city. Our family loved every minute in this lovely home and look forward to staying there again in the future.
Enjoyed a great weekend trip celebrating our friend Rob's 40th birthday, topped off with one of our best Sundays in memory watching the Seahawks defeat the 49ers on their way to becoming Superbowl Champs. What a Weekend !!! The house was awesome, gorgeous kitchen and a very spacious layout on the main floor. Dining room was great for Poker, spent a lot of time just hanging out in the basement/entertainment room. The property manager was available immediately when we couldn't figure out the sound system, she was great. I would definitely recommend a car if you're planning to go downtown a lot. With 3 levels of patio space, we may have to return this summer for BBQ season. We would definitely rent the same house again, it's stunning. The design is one of a kind, very cool and unique interior. Cheers.
The house was wonderful - a perfect place to enjoy family, gather for the SuperBowl (Go SeaHawks!), and close to all the local sites. We found it very relaxing (including lap quilts for tv watching), fully furnished kitchen for cooking some of our meals, and very comfortable beds for all. It was a real joy to experience!
There is so much to do in Seattle, especially around Queen Anne. Just minutes from downtown, yet is a real neighborhood with a quaint main core with restaurants, shops, and more. The home is fulll of artichectural eye candy and very comfortable. A great place to entertain, watch the bay views or sit by the fire and read. The home is only 40 minutes to skiing and in the summer, five to 10 minutes to a great beach. Better yet, stay home and barbeque and enjoy the sun on the deck. Every amenity you desire, Seattle has, and it's all within minutes!
Other Activities: downhill/alpine skiing, boating, snowboarding, health/beauty spa, miniature golf, shopping, kayaking, cross country skiing, basketball court
